It also looks less awkward when the head and torso come from the same actor.

You’re not crazy Frink. Different sizes for me.
This one.
I thought that’s what the (remake) thread was for. Someone plz delete this.
Everyone ignore this from now on! focus on the remake!
You mean TFA? Total remake, and Rey looks like a chubby chipmunk.
Funny, I was going to say the same thing.
Can we now get back on topic?

I have a premonition regarding Spuffure’s future status on this forum:
I think the makeup is kind of cheesy and plasticy, but it makes sense he would look different than in Jedi, considering that the scars are fresh in Sith but ~30 years old in Jedi. However, I think the notion that his appearance in Jedi necessitated a catastrophic injury is moronic, especially considering the wound was self-inflicted in Sith. Why couldn’t he just be really fucking old? It is a galaxy far far away. Maybe he was 170 or something. They could have just made McDiarmid look a little older than he actually was in the prequels.
and a Pirate
If an aged Ric shows up, I think my head and Frink’s will both explode in Cronenbergian glory. 😉
Not too mention the Ridiculous edit continuity will be all screwed up.
Hey this is the rogue one spoiler thread, not the ridiculous trilogy spoiler thread! :p
Best one is the one we had before anyone had ever heard the name Palpatine.
Hi, I’ve been looking for the .iso’s for Star Wars: Revisited, Pulp Empire and War of the Stars. Does anyone here know where I can find them?
I’ve been looking for the deli section so I can make a turkey sandwich. But worried doing so will affect Adywan’s edit…
KI would love an invite as well!
I’d love an invite, if still possible.
Thanks!!
READ!
Wow. We’re already at over 160 people asking for an invite to the private topic. The good news is that, inspired by suggestions to switch to Discord, I suddenly remembered what my day job is - I build websites! So last night I very quickly threw together a new private forum site, where nobody will be excluded for failing to post here in time, and where we can split the project up into several topics, so that all the people obsessed with the exact color of the Tantive walls can discuss it ad nauseum in a thread dedicated just to that topic, while the rest of us have the real fun reading about Turkey Sandwiches and the things that really matter.
Like the Legacy Site (which I also worked on), this one requires registration in order to see the Project forum. I’m still in the process of setting it all up, but if you want to head on over there and register, then we can start getting back to normal.

Please use the same username as you do here on OT.
I like the third and fourth ones an awful lot.
Yeah, the third one has some endearing qualities. Four I think had potential but the gears didn’t all quite mesh. Five was just, well… And Two was pretty dumb, plus Heston kind of mailed it in.
Look at Planet of the Apes. Those are all over the place in tone, and no one’s angry about them.
That’s because everyone’s all but forgotten about the sequels. Does anyone give a shit about anything Planet of the Apes beside 1968?
People seem to care about the new series of films.
I’ve been meaning to watch those eventually. Thought I should considering how much I love the original.
Edit: and the Troy McClure version of course.
Also the Troy McClure musical.
Lol. My favorite.

Waiting sucks
If you mean the COMING SOON thing, that’s been there for years. I was thinking though, that if the presentation has indeed happened and the Disney execs agreed, they’d probably want to announce it on their own terms, so Mike may have had to sign a nondisclosure agreement and may be throwing misdirects at us now 😃
Read his post on the Legacy forums for more info. I think he’s being honest in those posts.
What did he say?
Ostensibly something good!
Due to er… new developments over on the Legacy Edition Site, I’ve decided I’m going to take this project underground for a while. Work will continue as normal, just not so publicly.
I’m not really sure if projects like this one will help or hinder Mike’s quest, but just in case it might do the latter, perhaps we should let this topic slide down the list and off the front page for a while…
It would be a shame if it were to go completely quiet, really like the progress being made. But if there’s any private topics made, sign me up. 😛
Ditto. Don’t think I’ve posted, but I"ve enjoyed lurking in this thread
Also Han appears to be wearing no pants.
You think he just has squiggly legs?
20th Century Fox is still the distributor for physical media releases for all movies in the series.
New episode’s good!
+1
Sorry, didn’t realize there was another page and the thread refocused from that shit. Sorry.
How come y’all have a problem with this but not Luke’s expert piloting and his ability to use the force to target a laser torpedo into a narrow exhaust port with like ten minutes of training from Ben?
Edit: the only difference between the two characters that would make Rey a "Mary Sue " but not Luke is that Rey is a girl, and it’s really hard to pretend otherwise.
