I was young
I was young
I couldn’t imagine watching the entire PT in one sitting or evening.
EDIT: Ah hell.
I couldn’t imagine watching more than half of Attack of the Clones in one week.
Come on, no one would be stupid enough to name a Star Wars character “Kale.”
Oh.
Guys, Frink is talking to himself again.
There’s much more exciting stuff happening in the forum right now.
Im saying that makes it unlikely the algorithm mistook the digital version for the GOUT, as they say “Theatrical version” as opposed to “limited”
If it’s an innocent mistake and not a leak, then it might have to do with TFA being labelled as theatrical, which is also a bit of a mystery, but one I’m admittedly uninterested in.
But then, TFA is labeled as “Theatrical,” not “Theatrical Version”. It has been listed that way since the beginning.

Also, Amazon lists the ROTJ GOUT as “Limited Edition”.
Right. But at some point a human must’ve put in that this would be relased, no? And the computer decided when/where to list it.
So who do we complain to about this heinous revisionism?
Jedit: It’s also false advertising, no?
I suppose. But like I said, I think this was a mistake made by an algorithm. Amazon doesn’t “troll” its customers.
How munch advance notice would a retailer typically get for a release such as this?
I have a feeling this is a big mistaken leak on Amazon’s part. I won’t complain if we get the OOT obviously, but I do hope that it’s available on blu ray and not solely on digital.
Highly doubt it would be stream only given the nature of the fan base for that particular cut.
Maybe we should pick one thread to discuss this in, lol. I declare this the official thread.
And it’s in the URL too.
I see it, yes. I was asking if you had evidence as to the reason it’s listed as such.
The special edition is two minutes longer due to the added scenes
On the Amazon listing, the film is listed of having a run time of 2 hours and 14 minutes, which is the length
of the theatrical cut. This is more than an accidental title alterationWell, holy shit. It’s happening.
I’m sorry for the fast commenting but I am 100% convinced that THE films are coming
No worries. So exciting! Where is everyone else? We need to talk about this lol.
As noted in another thread, the 2:14 time stamp also matches the theatrical version. URL posted in other thread also says theatrical version in it. Not just a new title, new URL entirely.

Edit : simultaneous posting. Void.

Evidence? Or speculation?
Could also be a troll.
That label has also been added to TFA and ROTS.
Weird it’s only Jedi. Mysterious and exciting.
Uh, guys…Do you see what I see https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VMJ7RFY/ref=pd_cbs_318_1
Anyone have $19.99 to gamble?
I sometimes watch the SE’s too.
Why?
It’s refreshing to watch them every once in a while.
Why?
This
“Claim bragging rites to own the highest priced common VHS tape you could find in any thrift store.”
leaves me thinking this stunt is just a rather stupid joke.
I bet they were counting on people looking at it and then clicking their other items and maybe buying something. Any publicity…
That was just the most expensive. They tend to hover around $20k.
In that case, I’ll take five!
This article is comical. What does it even mean that the effects won’t hold up in HD? Does the author realize that for its first few years, Star Wars was only available in better-than-HD quality? (I.e. Film)
A LOOOOOOOOTT more than the BDs in some cases.
…why?
Lovelikewinter was saying how some of the VHS’ and DVD’s of the OUT are going for more than what the BDs cost. My post was showing how some actually go for a LOT more than what the BDs go for. The set in that link is going for $2K.
I think he means why would anyone pay $2000 for VHS.
Or frankly the GOUT for that matter. You can pick those up for $20 a pop at some used stores.
In all seriousness though, I may see this movie just for that.
