I like what I like.

I feel like I am devolving, a bit though. I used to really be into wine and classical music, now I am more into beer and punk. I hate watching TV and love reading books, especially classics and philosophy, though lately I have been more into video games (though my interest in them is definitely fading).

I don't care if people know what I like and don't like, or if they think I am posing because I lack extensive knowledge in some of these subjects.

I spent much of my youth not fitting in because I was different, then different became popular and I was king, then it became unpopular again and I didn't fit in anymore. There is no way to win these games, fortunately I learned that at a young age. Can't imagine living my life always worrying about what other people think, though I see many people that do just that. All ready enough chains around us in society, such worries just add more.

I'd be up for either L4D or L4D2. I have never played the vs. stuff, only the campaigns, which is what I would prefer. So if there are only four of us, that would be a lot of fun. Otherwise I'd be up for some firefight on ODST, or some good ol' Halo 3. Even MW2, though I am a "total newb" (not quite as bad as a Total Biscuit, fortunately). I also have the new Perfect Dark rerelease now... which would be completely awesome to play with you guys, if anyone else has it. If not, only ten bucks to revisit the ol' 64 days with spiffy new HD textures and online multiplayer, definitely worth it. Closest thing we will ever get to Goldeneye on a modern console.

Anyway, this week is spring break for me, so I have the whole week off work. Most of my friends are out of town, and the girl I am wooing is insanely busy this week. So, I have plenty of free time over the next few days.

Wow, so I bought Modern Warfare 2 the other day, and just played it for the first time. Kind of annoying being a level 1 against guys who are at levels 35-70. Anyway, I think MW2 players may actually be sadder than WoW players. Got to be the most immature group of players imaginable. And I thought the Halo 3 crowd was bad...

Yay! That worked out well! I just wanted to show that picture of my brain wearing the dunce cap, I did weird shit like that a lot when I was a teenager. Artistic outlet of sorts. I liked the irony of a brain (something symbolic of intelligence) wearing a dunce cap. I named that little work of art "Otis". I threw him away later that day and discovered that he was rotting inside (had him in my possession for a few days before this point), I nearly puked. It was one of the grossest things I had ever seen/smelt, and this is coming from the guy who went through the trouble of obtaining the brain, carrying it home with me, and putting hats on it. I seem to recall taking pictures of him wearing several other styles of hat, but I can't seem to find those pics.
