How do you hear your fellow board members in your head?

Not sure if CP3S is joking or not. If not, what the hell happened to the real CP3S?

I am the real CP3S, I am the same as I have always been. You're treating me differently. It is your perception that has changed. The above quote being the perfect example of that.

A few months ago I could have made that exact same comment, and you wouldn't have made some annoying comment asking "what the hell" happened to me.

After it being recommended to me, I decided to give Brain Dead a try. Didn't find it funny in the slightest. Felt like it relied mostly on being shocking and not much else.

The Evil Dead trilogy on the other hand (especially Evil Dead 2), are still some of my favorite movies.

As for Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead, yeah, I felt Diary was extremely weak, but watched it alongside a ton of other zombie flicks, and actually felt it was on par. Not exactly a sub-genre that aims for excellence. However, I liked Land of the Dead, and felt it ranked very high among the best modern zombie films.

Don't talk about Gaffer's fair like that, you perv! She may be kind of loose, what with sitting on everyones' laps and all, but he would never be so lude! Especially not in a Jeep... in daylight... with Sluggo present. And you wonder why you are the outcast!

By the way, C3PX, I took your advice and started playing Half-Life again. Damn, I forgot how good this game was! I'm going to finish it this time!

By the way, have you seen any of the GMod Idiot Box videos? I think you might get a kick out of those:

You had better finish it this time! And the expansions too.

Yeah, there were a lot of really cool things done with Gmod. My all time favorite being Civil Protection.

That one brings me to tears every time I watch it. Not even sure why, but it always has me rolling on the floor at the end.

This one is really great too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1ey8EnVSiA

"I am ninja! Whooping crane... whoop... whoop... whoop... whoop... whoop... whoop... whoop..."

"Wahcheechuchacheechachacheechuwa!"

Such good stuff!

And seriously, why don't they start building houses that are designed so you can haul a couch upstairs without having an blood vessel explode in your brain?

Having worked in construction in a former life, I can tell you that when we are drawing up the blue prints we do our best to ensure getting a couch up them will be no easy task. It is kind of a conspiracy, but too silly of a one for anyone to get to worked up about.

My favorite house I worked on, a relatives place after my construction years had ended, had a stairway that made it impossible to get any large furniture into the basement. All big furniture had to be brought in through the basement window before it was installed. Now that the window has been installed and fixed in concrete, no new furniture is going in, and now old furniture is going out... in one piece, anyway.

It is a design the man who drew it up should be truly proud of.

I even didn't noticed the fight (let's say I ignored it). I just steped in and followed brainlessly the flow of what I found to be funny pictures. And sorry to say, Bingo's post and video just matched exactly with my feeling of your position in this situation.

And I find your views on me and the way you present them insulting. At least you admit you only see things from a limited angle and have a tendency to ignore reality. You make slight jabs at me out of the blue all the time, and I usually just ignore them, so it is remarkable to hear you claim such a high level of innocence. I'd love to let everything go and leave it in the past, but every few weeks it seems to come up again.

But my thoughts and abilities for acting are currently dedicated to things that matter to me most.

Posting BS pictures and telling C3PX how very wrong he is? Wow, good priorities.

Sorry I seemed to confuse you Fink. By "powers" and "loyal followers", I mean your ability for humorous harmless derailments, and those who have decided to follow your lead and do the same (though to a far less controlled extent than yourself).

I rant about nothing. I'm well. And I'm ok with you since I don't care anymore trying to point out how much all these virtual disputes are pointless, and how you spoil yourself sometimes writing a book about x person's behaviour in the Off Topic section of a SW forum... Whatever you're right or not, please notice.

It is comments like this where you pretend to be perfect and make all problems out to be mine that make me have a problem with you. I didn't want any fight today, I just wanted to pointlessly talk about lame ass video games, and because I did something as small as ask two people to stop fighting, it became a big mess.

For what you're refering to it seems you took all bad from me since I tried to make you understand your eternal rants or against Frink

I have actually never really had a problem with Fink himself, he uses his powers pretty responsibly, it is his loyal followers who annoy me. A little bit with Bingowings, though I still find him enjoyable enough most of the time, but most of all with you.

But indeed, I noticed your effort to understand what I say (= the idea behind the words) since then has incredibly lowered... Convenient!

Actually, I understand what you are saying as well as ever, and frankly your pontifications rub me the wrong way. I might be more inclined to give a damn about what you have to say, if what you say wasn't always spoken from a soapbox.

You rant about how wrong and foolish I am in all of this, I agree I am far from perfect, and lately I have been in a state where I really don't mind getting into scuffles with you guys, I have lost all respect for you both already, so what else is there to lose? But it is really a shame you are not able to preach to yourself from that soapbox of yours. I would suggest you try some kind of set of positioned mirrors to remedy that problem, but it is not that our own sermons ever do us any good anyway.

All I ever did to start this mess was politely (if it did not come off as polite due to my use of an apparent Scottish (and perhaps French too?) vulgarism "spam", it should be worth some modicum of goodwill that I intended it to be polite and had no idea the use of that term would cause the great offense it did), and since then you guys have seen fit to treat me like shit, so I feel obliged to throw it right back at you. That may not be the most mature way to behave, but it works for me. If I get shit thrown at me, I will toss it back. I definitely don't possess that peace maker attitude guys like Gaff and 005 pull off so well, so on we will go I am afraid.

What you quote has nothing to do with it (ah! I got the name: that's Wicket ! You sound like Wicket, Leia's friend).

I know what I quoted didn't have anything to do with it. I was playing along with you like we used to, and saying that it is a shame things are the way they are between us now. I didn't intend to bring this into this thread. I was having fun posting with you, and just stopped for a second to mention my sorrow in the situation.

I use to hear C3PX as an ewok, and frankly I don't understand nothing that he says.

Yes, because as an illegal immigrant from one of Endor's moons, my English is quite broken.

It is quite funny how things turned out with you and I, there was a time it seemed like I was about the only person who seemed to be able to understand what the hell you were saying and we got on quite well.

I read CE3X as Alex Jones for some bizarre reason.

As in the female Welsh television presenter? Weird.

I have always had a hard time attaching a Scottish accent to you, probably because I have generally really liked most Scottsmen I've met. I used to hear your voice as an old Scottish American I used to know who had a North Eastern American accent, now I always hear you as Han Solo with a smug tone of voice.

Leonardo - Greek-Italian accent.

Moth3r - as John Cleese, not sure why.

Warbler - he has a very distinct voice in my mind, but I don't know how to explain it.

A B C - as Eckhart Tolle with a French accent and a more giddy laugh, and on some occasions as John Cleese's Frenchmen from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Chainsawash - as a more intelligent version of Fry from Futurama.

CP3S - as Malcolm McDowel (kidding)

Sluggo - Like a seven or eight year old kid.

Darth Solo - with a slight Philipino accent, inexplicably.

The Boost - Piett all the way.

DAYV - with a very hardcore manly Texan accent.

Ferris - like a very honorable and gentlemanly old western movie sheriff... from Texas.

Gaffer - has had a distinct sounding voice in my mind long before I actually heard his voice, and even though I really know what he sounds like now I still can't change it over in my mind.

Davnes - Yeah, I always read his posts in the voice of a sweet giggly twenty some year old girl, while envisioning a stubble faced 40 year old guy with posters of Erica Campbell all over his room speaking... or at least that is what I try to remind myself he might look like, least I forget he is actually a dude.

005 and Xhonzi I hear as themselves. Interestingly, I heard Xhonzi voice much the same way I do now before I ever even heard it. Upon first hearing him speak, I immediately thought to myself, "Wow, that guy sounds just like I expected him to sound."

Jay - has always sounded like a cross between Emperor Palpatine and a frat boy, or what Palpatine would have sounded like as a frat boy, or a frat boy trying to sound like Palpatine... not really sure why though.

For what is about the "childish games" words used by C3PX, I'd prefer "innocent games". A 3D fighter with a gun is not less childish than a Sonic the Hedgehog or a Donkey Kong...

Wow, I omitted most of it from the above quote, but we have really managed to sink to grade school level on our bickering here. I feel like I should be shouting out shit like "I am rubber and you're glue" or "nah nah nah nah nah".

As for modern violent games being no less childish, I think we are speaking on two different terms here.

I don't think Donkey Kong or Sonic the Hedgehog are childish. Donkey Kong is still one of my all time favorite games. Personally, I think all video games are pretty childish in general. There are certainly better things one could be doing with their time than wasting it away on video games. So I concede, all could fall under the blanket term of "childish".

I guess the same argument you are making could be made for a grown man who loved watching "innocent television" such as Seasame Street and Telly Tubbies over television aimed at older audiences.
