I can agree with a lot of what you said, Panaflex. However, my problem with the Han shoots second scene is also that he does shoot second now. The head jerk is one of two problems with that scene. I would also add to your list the extended celebration at the end of ROTJ which just detracted from the entire movie as well as Luke's scream and his changed line on Degobah in ESB.

Ironically enough, I see this exchange resembling 2001: A Space Odyssey. The names even work (with a little tweaking).

Dayv: What's the problem?
HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Dayv: What are you talking about, HAL?
HAL: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Dayv: I don't know what you're talking about, HAL?
HAL: I know you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
Dayv: Where the hell'd you get that idea, HAL?
HAL: Dayv, although you took thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.

HAL: I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal.

Before the release we were all thinking bare bones theatrical, then come day of the release it seemed as if at the last minute he threw in Dolby 5.1 and a much loved DTS track. Changes can be made ridiculously fast. Dont be fooled by the mumbojumbo.

I was under the impression that all the retooling for ET was done for the theatrical release. So the new audio was ready when the DVD was pressed. No last minute changes or anything like that. The only question was how it was all going to be packaged and if the original version would be included. Thankfully, it was.

I dunno, MSD. I really dig the "Enjoy the Silence" one. Perfect for Depeche Mode freaks like Motti (and myself who is just a simple DM fan, not a freak). I just wish there was some way to zoom in on Luke a bit more in that image. The rest of them rock as well. And, yes, the Yoda one does seem better with the changed text.

You've got some great ideas here, MSD. You should PM Jay and let him know to look them over and maybe add them to his link logo page.
