You can do either "these are" or "are these". My concern was with using "these is" or "this is", whichever was the original because it wasn't matching up in terms of plural usage. You were using singular "is" with plural "memories". Yeah, Yoda speaks backwards, but he still matches up his tenses and plural usage and all that jazz. Surprisingly. But he does.

Why doesn't Lucus just release both versions?

That's what we don't understand either, Indy. All Lucas will say is that the original cuts of the movies that made it to theaters in 77, 80, and 83 are just working copies that are part of some master evolution to an ultimate archival copy of all six films in the sextology (no laughing, that's a real word, I think) that should be due in 2007. We're hoping this ultimate editon (or UE for short) will contain the original cuts, but, personally, I'm not holding my breath.

And what makes this all so great is that I have a wife who loves football and will plop down on the couch with me and watch games and eat chips and dip and drink beer. How does it get any better?

The thing that's cool about the Longwell stuff is that her brother is a damn good kicker. Was named to all conference in high school, etc. Kickers are rarely drafted in the NFL (I believe only one place kicker has been drafted to date), so it's all walk on and word of mouth for kickers. If he impresses the hell out of Longwell, who knows what could happen?

Nope. Number of seasons is determined by the suits. Friends is in season 10, NYPD Blue is in 11 and will end after 12. ER is in 11. Simpsons in 14. Will and Grace in 5, I believe. It varies. Most shows would consider themselves blessed to make it to 7. I'd venture an estimation that only 10-15% of shows on TV make it to 7 seasons or more. If that.
