The Return of Six Degrees of Star Wars
Time
Simon, yep your Fleming solution is fine. I know it doesn't say "Actor" beside it, but he is appearing on screen as himself and it was theatrically released apparently on Dec. 28, 1919. So it's good.

Cecil B DeMille (Hollywood) Charlie Chaplin (A King in New York) Dawn Addams (Vampire Lovers) Peter Cushing -- Grand Moff Tarkin

There, I have now shortened the Charlie Chaplin linkage so it will be easier down the line to use his name. Who knew that Chaplin was only two degrees from Star Wars?

Next is William Wyler (yes, you will have to use "uncredited" appearances to answer this one).

Why Hayden's acting in ROTJ was bad...
Time
Yeah, I noticed it. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Adds to the eerieness of the film by emphasizing how desperate their situation is because there is no one around them other than the birds. The lack of music just makes me think of isolation. Kinda like how there was no music during the entire time that Tom Hanks was stuck on the island in Cast Away. According to Zemeckis, it was intentional. He said that the character doesn't have music so why should the audience?

I want one!

They start at $500. I'm not buying one, though, because they are only available as G4s and with the G5 now available, I'd prefer to pay the extra to have the better processor. Once I've updated the upper echelon model (starting at $600) with all the extras I need (4x SuperDrive, 512 MB RAM, Airport Extreme Card, keyboard/mouse combo, and the protection plan), the total price comes up to $1,060. Then I still have to buy a monitor on top of that. There's a couple hundred more. May as well just fork out the extra few hundred and get the G5 iMac.

But for new Macheads, this is great. No question.

Here's a spec page from Apple.com.

That "one stupid Rodian" changed Han's entire character from a ruthless, out for himself scoundrel to a guy just shooting in self defense. Oooohhh. He's so bad ass now. Many people would strike in self defense. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't lash out on somebody in self defense. But to blatantly pull a gun on a person and shoot them under the table without any inclination that the other guy even wanted to do you any bodily harm aside from turning you over to Jabba for a bounty or stealing money that you stole anyway is just ruthless. That was all a part of Han's character arc. Now it's non existent.

Very few countries outside North America give a rat's ass about the Super Bowl. You gotta remember that in almost any other country, "football" is a sport that involves kicking a ball around a field into a netted goal. When 90% of the world's population thinks a completely different thing when the word "football" is mentioned, it's very understandable that the Super Bowl is barely given a mention in other countries' mass media outlets. Hell, can you name who won the most recent CFL championship? That's only one country away from us and I cannot even do that. Why should they care about our sports when we can't even give two shits about their's? Karma, baby. What goes around, comes around. I'm surprised it even gets as much of a mention as Ric says it does.

Sorry, your post went up at the same time I was posting mine. Didn't see yours.

But doesn't the thread reload itself (thereby constituting a new view) each time you post a reply? Or is a "view" just each time you click into a thread meaning you could click in once and stay there indefinitely?

Christian Culkin.

BTW I was just looking up Culkin in IMDb and it came up with Bonnie Bedelia (Die Hard - Willis' wife). Her full name is Bonnie Bedelia Culkin. She is Macauley Culkin's aunt. Did any of you know that?
