Threepio or Artoo, which droid would YOU rather have?

I dunno... Luke seems to understand what he says. And if R2 can interface with some random Imperial computer network, I trust he could interface with something as simplistic as a PC. And since when does diagnosing a computer's problems involve a USB2 port? Last I checked, it involved typing and mousing around and possibly even pulling it apart. With all the stuff I've seen R2 interface with as well as pull apart and fix in both the OT and PT, I think he could handle it. 3PO just gets tangled up in cables.

Oh, and somehow I don't see 3PO on his knees scrubbing my kitchen floor.

I think R2 would be the perfect tool to have to interface with any and all electronic devices I own or would want to own.

Exactly. If I can do those things, why do I need 3PO? We know he doesn't do domestic things like cleaning. And, somehow, I don't think I'd trust him with cooking. R2, on the other hand, I would have installed with a digital video recorder so he could playback shows with his holographic projector. Since he's an AI based robot, he would know to start recording a show right at the beginning and end whenever it actually ends since TV networks don't seem to follow the "on the half hour/on the hour" programming rules anymore. And he'd block all commercials. He could fix all busted appliances in my house. Work on my truck. Diagnose my computer problems and be preprogrammed with all the necessary serial numbers and passwords to make software copies
