The Return of Six Degrees of Star Wars
Time
Simon and Ric,

For simplicity's sake, you can each cut out a step or two. Make it easier down the line to remember.

Simon, link Val Kilmer directly to Warwick Davis (Wicket the Ewok) in Willow

Ric, take Brad Pitt straight to Harrison Ford in The Devil's Own.

Sean Michael Allen (The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2) Julianne Moore (The Fugitive) Harrison Ford -- Han Solo

Have we done Donal Logue yet?

Arthur Miller 1915-2005
Time
When I come across news about famous people dying while I'm at work, I usually announce it to the other people in my office (hey, I'm stuck behind a computer nine hours a day, five days a week; I need my fun). When I announced that Arthur Miller had died, not a single other person had ever heard of him. I was in shock. Even after saying Death of a Salesman, they still didn't know. I couldn't believe it.

What would you like to see in a scifi/fantasy web site? The time has come for a change...

I'm just saying that I think LFL would want to see it all there right then and there and not have to contact anybody in order to view the rest of it. I would think they would want their interest to be as hidden as possible. I'm not saying it's "useless". And I have no idea what the hell you mean by all the commit/drop table stuff.

'Batman' Cast Flocks to Video Game

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Christian Bale (news), Michael Caine (news), Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman (news) and almost all other primary cast members of "Batman Begins" have agreed to reprise their roles in the video game tie-in.

Co-publishers Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment were set to confirm the unprecedented crossover Friday. Others in the movie's cast who also will appear in the game include Katie Holmes, Cillian Murphy and Tom Wilkinson.

The interactive version of "Batman Begins" is in development by EA and Eurocom and is on schedule to be released in June, day-and-date with the Warner Bros. Pictures film directed by Christopher Nolan.

"Actors spent a lot of time developing their character for this movie, and having the talent reprise their role in the game is a way for them to maintain the integrity of what they've done," said Jason Hall, senior vp Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "And it's cool!"

The actors have approval over how they and their characters are represented. Business terms of the project were not disclosed, though Hall did say such deals vary too widely to draw any generalizations.

The most complex part of putting the game cast together was organizing the logistics and making sure everyone involved was fully informed about the process, Hall said. Getting the actors to sign on was more straightforward.

"Warner Bros. has the foresight to work with the talent and get them into the project proactively," Hall said. "More people now understand what video games are, the opportunity they represent and the kind of stories they can tell. These collaborations are much more possible now that the technological and visual capabilities are so advanced."

I want the 12" with the SuperDrive.

I'm surprised you saw it for cheaper considering the MSRPs on Mac stuff are usually the actual price charged. No sale prices are ever allowed by Apple. That's why, even if you see an iPod listed in a sale ad for Circuit City, Best Buy, etc., it is still the same price; just on display in the ad.

Won't happen. For Lucas, or another LFL cronie, to actually contact Jay and ask for the remainder of the signatures would be admitting that LFL really cares about the petition and that our opinion matters and, worst of all, that they can do something about it despite disavowing any existence of the original prints. It would show they were lying and covering up and their credibility would be shot (not that it isn't already in my mind).

Prequels and Superman
Time
I don't know that it's lifted from Superman so much as it is just a visual representation of the typical five stages of grief (Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance). That's just what both directors/writers are showing. Both movies represented that visually and it has been shown in hundreds of other movies as well.

Both characters just chose different avenues in the acceptance phase.
