Info Wanted: Question - some expanded and workprint versions...

As for the first 'Friday...'. I have that copy, although I'm sure I read somewhere that although the UK cut has more gore than the American R-Rated cut, there is also an Asian version that is completely uncut, I can be and probably am wrong though.

From the site I linked to in an earlier post:

Friday the 13th uncut import (1980)
Running Time: 1:34:55

Language: English
Quality Rating: A

Letterboxed
No Subtitles (several languages optional)

Directed By: Sean S. Cunningham

Special Effects / Make-up: Tom Savini

Starring: Adrienne King, Betsy Palmer, Harry Crosby, Mark Nelson, Kevin Bacon

The splatter classic Friday the 13th was released in Asia with more of Tom Savini's brilliant make-up effects intact; effects which were cut from all of the US releases, even the DVD.

The extra scenes are included in this version of the film, including:

Annie's death scene is a little longer. More blood is shown oozing from her slit throat.

The death of Jack (Kevin Bacon) contains more blood, including a camera shot from above showing blood spraying out of his neck and into his mouth. This scene alone makes this a must-see tape!

The shot of Marcie when she is axed in the head is a little longer.

Edit: Looks to be an exact port of the UK disc.

However, after searching Google, I found this site which has hundreds of workprints for sale, I've never used them before so can't vouch for them, but hell if I had the money they'd be a few discs that I'd order.

Would it be possible to get this off you? I've been after this for a while seeing as, for some reason, I love this film.

Some great uncut prints to get would be the 'Friday the 13th' movies and also 'My Bloody Valentine'

Uh, you want the Japanese extended cut? It's only three minutes longer and it's been so long since I've watched the original version I'm not even sure what the differences are anymore.

As for Friday The 13th, the first one is available in it's fully uncut form in the UK.

Idea: a Star Wars SuperTrailer?
Time
I have a trailer of the SE trilogy release in 97. No idea where it originated, I found it on a trailer forum I'm a member of. I also have a trailer that I found on suprnova before that site got pulled. It's a montage of the first five episodes, but the last two scenes say "Order your boxest now" & lists the titles of all six episodes. I have no idea where that originated either. If you want these hosted let me know and I'll see if I can get them online.

We have wasted time and money. For shame

How have we wasted time and money? What time have you put into getting this set? And even if you've put money towards the purchase of this set then you'll still not lose out. If I remember rightly, Rev. Beastly said the set would be resold on Ebay so any monies spent on the purchase would be made back possibly with extra. Any persons who contributed would be reimbursed.

It's not a waste because up until now no one knew what was happening with the official set. We could have all sat back and watched sets sold on Ebay for silly money and waited in the hope that someone got off their ass and did what a few people here have done.

I for one would still like to see a full rip of the Laserdisc Collection if anyone still wants to do this.

It's not Godfather parts I, II & III. It's a chronological re-edit of the whole trilogy (with extra scenes added if I remember rightly). So in the beginning instead of Brando, you have Robert De Niro as the young Vito making his way to America. It's a fine set and well worth the time and trouble should you be so inclined

I have one of these on VHS, never managed to work my way through it all though, gave up on the last third unfortunately, but what I did see works suprisingly well. Was there any extras with this set of laserdiscs because I'm pretty sure I didn't have any with my VHS set. Though I might take a look if I can find it. (I sold off my VHS tapes to make room for my growing collection of DVDs only keeping a few collectable tapes which are now in storage.)

[Wanted] Custom DVD cover...
Time
I've seen the work that some of you put into the covers you upload and they've been amazing. So I was wondering if someone would be willing to make me up a custom DVD cover for "The Sandkings" episode of The Outer Limits that I've had on my hard drive for ages. Unfortunately, I don't have much info for you to use other than what's here & here. Sorry I don't have anymore details for you, but I hope someone can come up with something.

Thanks in advance.

Gundrosens SW covers(1-6+classic+bonus)
Time
Sorry, just noticed a few errors in a couple of covers. Do you think they could be corrected?

Return of The Jedi

Lord Darth Vader - Surely you don't need the two titles for Vader seeing as they mean the same thing anyway?

...to prepare for to complete his battle.... - That doesn't make sense.

Deleted Magic

Dark lighter - That's one word.

"Lost Cut's" - The apostrophe isn't needed and I don't think the final 's' is either.

Sorry to be really picky about this.

Good luck, guys!

I'd wait for this project to finish if I were you. Those files you're trying to get from eMule are propably rips of the DVDs that I have. Mr Impatient here (Me ) decided he couldn't wait and forked out £20 for a sub-par (although watchable) LD rip from Ebay.
