I have this too. Just to warn you, no version anywhere is complete. The last half of the movie got destroyed in the editing room when a fire broke out in the building.

Warner Bros. has greenlit Richard Donner to restore his original Superman: The Movie and Superman II for DVD release in 2006. Donner shot nearly 60 per cent of Superman II before the producers fired him and hired Richard Lester. Fans have lobbied for the release of a new cut after original drafts of the screen-play circulated, while an alternate, unsanctioned version was produced using 24-minutes of material from an 1983 international TV version. Now, Warner Bros. plans to release Special Edition DVDs of Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest For Peace to coincide with Bryan Singer's Superman Returns. The studio has negotiated with Ilya Salkind for the release of Donner's unused Superman II footage, and it will be included with the new DVD release either as a bonus feature or in a new cut.

But in the original comics the The Joker/Jack Napier didn't kill Wayne's parents. Batman Begins has more in common with the original story than the Burton movies ever did.

The Burton/Schumacher movies are not meant to tie in with the Nolan movie AT ALL. They are complete seperate entities.

There will be another super-duper extended edition and or a chronologically edited version, but Jackson is holding out for HD-DVD or Blu-Ray before doing these.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Jackson had filmed everything just so he could do this later release.

Personally, I can't fucking wait.

I might be able to help with this. I downloaded from STG about a year and a half ago, the most complete audio version of the original broadcast the various members involved could put together. It's all in FLAC format split up over nineteen discs. One disc is video clips the rest is audio. Out of seventeen hours of music there's under ten minutes footage missing. If you want this, let me know.

Would this be possible at all, to have a sub forum within the fan edits & preservation forum for other movies not relating to Star Wars. There are so many threads relating to fan edits and workprints, they get lost cuz the search function isn't up to much. Then someone else starts another one, and so on and so forth. If we could have a sub forum at least they'd be easier to watch.
