The Last Jedi- Full Movie Re-Edit
Time

One comment on his channel in particular isn’t very favourable about us

The guys in the “forum” are super salty right now and so so sooo jealous you had made money from your craft and they are living in their grand parents basement.

Well actually, I live in my parents attic for starters. And secondly, why is forum in “quotation marks”? And thirdly, I don’t think making profit from fanediting is a good thing…

The Force Awakens - Ridley's Edit (WIP)

Sir Ridley said:

I’m considering it, if the shots fit in seamlessly and make the sequence better then I will include them.

I’ve added the shot of Kylo igniting his saber in the forest for my own perpetually unfinished edit. It fits the scene well and besides the hood being present, it works well. I added a lot of the cut stuff from the trailers and TV spots before stopping work after Finn wakes up in the desert.

4K77 - Released

Google is your friend.

It really wasn’t, I thought it was some other private tracker like Myspleen but then there were different providers and fees and I found more questions than answers

You can use a free provider like free-usenet.com, the only catch is the download rate is limited to 1Mbps so it will take a while to download.

I got as far as making an account installing BinBar, but now it wants a host and a port. I’m hopelessly clueless about this sorta thing.

You’ll probably have to wait until it makes its way onto public trackers, at least as far as the apparently-forever-closed-for-invites MySpleen goes.

I’m pretty sure someone will upload it to alt.binaries.starwars soon, so just keep an eye on that if you aren’t on the Spleen.

Isn’t that on Usenet? Which is a paid thing? I’ve heard it come up every now and again and I still don’t understand how it works

Feedback Wanted: Alternate Mustafar climax for ROTS

There’s some deleted and unfinished FX footage of the Mustafar fight that I’ve never seen anyone use. Could be something to look into for some alternate angles and shots.

Some of them are used here:

Like Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting on a cliff instead.

Where did these scenes come from? Were they compiled from trailers or elsewhere beacuse I’ve never seen these before

Help: Looking for... the following StarWars fanedits/Preservation

Star Wars Special Edition 2004 : Official DVD
Star Wars Special Edition 2011 : Official Blu-Ray

The greatest 2 fanedits of all time, its a real shame some low-life scum sell theses people’s hard work on Ebay for profit and personal gain.

Did you just look up a list of offical releases and now you want every single one for collection purposes or something? What are you even going to do with all of them?

I’m currently working on a V2 of my regrade, which will now completely remove the blanket despecialized statement that is heavily present on the Blu-ray of the thread.

I wasn’t impressed by the newest Blu-Ray master of this thread. I always prefered the DVD master, but its becoming less and less watchable in quality over the years. I’m looking forward to your v2 regrade as your v1 has become my go-to version of this thread.

kk650's Regraded Captain America Civil War IMAX (2016) (blanket yellow tint removed from blu-ray) (Released)

I hope you don’t mind, but I used your regrade as a base for my own. I adjusted the contrast, saturation and added a bit of yellow back into it to make the colours pop a bit more

Here’s the start of the airport fight as a preview

I’d like to know your thoughts

Terminator 2 Full Frame Color Correction (ON HIATUS)
Time

I beleive its mostly disliked, but IMO, it looks great, but needs some work on some scenes. There is a green tint that is noticable in the earlier scenes, but is still somewhat prevalent later on. There is a lot more detail here over the 2009 BR. The 09 BR is softer looking and pink in areas, while this one is sharp and teal. The new print is definitely my go-to until someone regrades it.

Here is a good comaprison between the old release and this new one.

The part when he’s talking about killing the sandpeople and Padme said “To be angry is to be human” and most of that scene was a DVD addition IIRC

Which parts of that scene were DVD additions?

The “To be angry is to be human” and the “I’m a Jedi, I should be better”.

Here’s a full list of stuff added, changed or cut on DVD and Blu-Ray

 • When Obi-Wan and Anakin speed through the power couplings, the shots have been swapped around on the BR
 • When Obi-Wan grabs Anakin’s lightsaber out of the air during the speeder chase, there were some more speeders in the shot in the theatrical
 • Shmi’s voice during Anakin’s nightmare was added on the BR
 • Padme saying “To be angry is to be human” and Anakin’s “I’m a Jedi, I should be better” after he kills the Tuskan Raiders was added on the DVD
 • More sparks have been added to Jango’s jetpack after the Reek stomps on him on the DVD
 • When Padme falls out of the gunship into the dunes, a clone trooper asks her if she is alright, in the Theatrical she says “Yes”, while in subsequent releases she says “Uh huh”
 • Dooku’s escape has some rearranged shots on the BR
 • During the wedding, Anakin’s hand wasn’t CGI and barely moved in the theatical before being changed to CGI for the DVD

There were some colour changes too from the DVD to the BR, mainly a blanket green tint. Just from looking at the Centropy copy, its clear that the DVD is more accurate to the theatrical colour timing

If you want the IMAX cut, I think it’s been remade and put up somewhere, probably on the Spleen or something. But I’d be interested in a scan of the 35mm. It’d lay a lot of rumours to rest, mainly the extra speeders and the Jango Fett jetpack thing. I’d also be interesting in seeing the practical mechanical hand in better quality. I’d definitly donate to it
