Ive never heard of VLC before. What are the benefits of using that media player? Again, bare with me, Im still learning when it comes to manipulating digital video media. I dont know quite how to ask this question, but what exactly happens if I crop or squeeze the TN1 movie into a scope format? Will I indeed get the desired result or be wasting my time?

I dont know if this has ever been asked, and maybe its not even possible to do. Is there a way to alter the file so that it is in the scope format so that us folks with projectors/anamorphic lenses capable of stretching that image to the 2.35:1 AR can get our moneys worth on all available pixals?

I may have overlooked it, but what type of print was the source for this project? Im not to keen on film source types. I know there is 35mm flat, 35mm scope etc etc.

More appropriate would be to use the ‘other’ film restoration subforum (non-SW). But visibility is a bit lower. But that’s less of a problem when there’s more than 13 hours left of an auction. Regardless, crossposting is unwanted. Especially bumping various threads in the same subforum. Anyone who sees one will see them all. And in this case, we’re seeing a print in poor shape that isn’t really usable.
How can you tell the condition of it from those pics? Just curious.

Here’s my two cents, I’m willing to bet most people (>75%) sit too far away from their display medium to even discern the difference between 720p and 1080p.

Maybe someone else knows better than me, but I recommend a Pioneer. Can’t recall exact model, but for the average Joe, they get great reviews and perform admirably.

And IMO EpIII more or less did an excellent job of filling in that backstory.

“Tricked” is a synonym for seduced.

I hated Jacksons performance. He, as an actor, has too much angst built up. He looks as though, at any moment, he’s gonna pull a gun out and blow someone away. Lawrence Fishburn would’ve been a far superior Mace Windu IMO.

Ya know, I really dont remember. This was probably 1993-1997 time period. I wanna say I may have run across it again a few years later, but it didnt seem that it was the same book. The only memories I have was the pricetag, $80-$130 and that it had every costume, model or outfit fully laid out, piece by piece. Other than that one or two times, Ive never seen it again.

After Googleing it, I think thats it. The only definitive thing I recall was it had Boba Fetts outfit laid out piece for piece. Apparently, its somewhat of a collecters piece. According to all of my inquiries and from what Ive heard, NO! No if you use tsMuxergui to convert to .ISO, then burn to bluray via imgBurn. I use a PS3 for my BD player and it works fine.

Convert with tsdemuxerGUI, then burn to disc. It will play fine on PS3

I was wondering, is there a way to re-label the audio tracks prior to authoring? Some of the language tracks are labeled, but not the other Dolby versions.

You should be able to adjust the size of the image with the software.

Emabbarassed to even post this, but Moms will be Moms. Since my birthday coincided near the release of TFA and for the first time in 38 years a SW movie was playing in the theatre, she decided I was still 8 yrs old and got this for me. Gotta love your Moms.

Your friend is a product of his/her generation. More accustomed to CGI than the real thing, albeit a bit muppetish at times. Kind of supports a point I tried to make in another thread that deepnding on what generation you grew up in, it can have an affect on how you interpret or view a movie/book.

Must be a nation wide theme. Goes to show you the cultural impact this movie has made on our society.
