There was a man in Bulgaria who drove a train for a living.
He loved his job, driving a train had been his dream ever since he was a child.
He loved to make the train go as fast as possible.
Unfortunately, one day he was a little too reckless and caused a crash.
He made it out, but a single person died.
Well, needless to say, he went to court over this incident.
He was found guilty, and was sentenced to death by electrocution.
When the day of the execution came, he requested a single banana as his last meal.
After eating the banana, he was strapped into the electric chair.
The switch was flown, sparks flew and smoke filled the air- but nothing happened.
The man was perfectly fine.
Well, at the time, there was an old Bulgarian law that said a failed execution was a sign of divine intervention, so the man was allowed to go free.
And somehow, he managed to get his old job back driving the train.
Having not learned his lesson at all, he went right back to driving the train with reckless abandon.
Once again, he caused a train to crash, this time killing two people.
The trial went much the same as the first, resulting in a sentence of execution.
For his final meal, the man requested two bananas.
After eating the bananas, he was strapped into the electric chair.
The switch was thrown, sparks flew, smoke filled the room- and the man was once again unharmed.
Well, this of course meant that he was free to go.
And once again, he somehow manages to get his old job back.
To what should have been the surprise of no one, he crashed yet another train and killed three people.

The man looked at the executioner and said “Oh, the bananas had nothing to do with it. I’m just a bad conductor.”
I did something similar. I lurked around the time forums opened but never joined and then saw a sheet of altered images for the edit on some web page and first thought it was another new DVD edition and then followed the breadcrumbs back here.

A film or film series something like Privates on Parade or For the Boys set with a group of aliens, droids and humans that entertain the troops in various conflicts in the Star Wars universe might be fun.
Seeing as some aliens in the series live to be hundreds of years old it could span the PT, OT and ST eras.
It could be quirky but also dark (like MASH) and contain musical numbers which Disney could flog as a fun soundtrack album.
To be honest I find the Qui-Gon & Kenobi vs Maul duel to be very over-rated.
The moves are impressive, those some of the video game backdrops look very silly.
The lack of verbal exchange really ruins it for me. The OT duels are about the characters striking each other with ideas, that they are also hitting each other with laser swords is secondary.
I hadn’t seen it but now I have thanks to you. I really wish I was allowed to use Time Travel to make Star Wars films now. Cary and Carrie would have been a great cinematic paring in their prime.
I don’t really care about the actual ratings, but basically equating those four movies is crazy talk.

Woody Allen deserves to die. His whole film career was a fucking ruse to molest children, because if a rapist makes people laugh people forget he is a rapist. I would be glad to spend the rest of my life in prison if I had the opportunity to stab him to death. For whatever reason I watched The Walking Dead all the way through season 5. Stopped being good after the first season. The sad thing is I wouldn’t put it past me to watch season 6 at some point.
I gave up at the end of the third season.
The dick waving in season 2 was the zenith of annoyance, I can well believe it got better later but the damage was done.
I have a similar relationship with Orphan Black. I never really liked it but the better half liked it and once in a while I found it tolerable.
Torchwood was mostly awful too but Children of Earth was rather good and worth watching, the rest of it was weird tonally. It felt like a 14 year old had been given a brief to write an ‘adult’ show. It was a child’s idea of what the adult world is like.
As Lando and Gunray discovered, deals get altered with Ady we know if it happens it’s for the greater glory of the Empire (strikes back).
