There is also the possibility of splitting her work and sharing it across both of the next two movies so she has a presence in the whole trilogy. as we found with Rogue One films are often restructured after shoots and there is a tendency to film more than finally needed. I would just film more stuff with Mark and the new peeps and allow the Leia footage to bridge both films.

Last years was part wacky Christmas fluff and part really enjoyable character moments this year was wacky Christmas fluff (mostly ripped straight out of Superman the movie but at least it’s sort of explained in the story) made tolerable by Capaldi doing his usual best to make it work.

Last years is sort of essential viewing for the River Song story arc and the two flow directly into each other.

The effects in ROTJ go from astonishingly beautiful to bloody ugly. I’d imagine ESB:R was more an act if enhancement most of the time than compleat redux. The cut and pasting in the endor battle is atrocious. The set sail barge is amazing. The model at times looks more at home in the serials the films were drawing inspiration from.

It’s his feast and mass day. And after all the feast I have gained some mass too 😄
