in fact why not take the Jabba/Han scene from ANH get rid of the Han Chewwie & the Falcon & put in Mustafar. Have him talking to Gunray (I think there is a clip of him walking more or less in the same way somewhere in ep 1) telling him & his kind where to shove it, & warning the separatists that if he ever sees any of them near his territory he will put a price on their heads so big that they will never be able to go near a civilized system ever again.

I have to say the jabba as a separatist idea could be cool, but how would you have him escape the execution in RotS?

maybe have El Sid contact him with a Job to do so he can get gone before vader arrives,

& on a "bringing it full circle" note, luke would finish off what his daddy started!

Maybe the cannons blasts could act like Thermite and have the ship melt to a degree!

 1st of all Titanic 97 years gone last week RIP (we irish have a special place in our heart for the little ship)

2nd of all the titanic snapped in half due to her sheer size, the barge is tiny in comparison the explosions would have to be well placed & timed to be able to pull off that shot

it is but its barely visiable 

now if the lasers were green!!!

Nice but I had more of a waist up view in mind for palps (kinda like the emperors) and have the hollo projector on the table (where he is stood when padme comes in)

I'm going off memory here again, but, isn't there a shot where a rodian interrupts the meeting at the beginning of the movie where palps is sat at his desk that could be worked in here so he is looking down at anakin's holo. (obviously the background would have to be altered to remove the jedi from the seats.)

I zoomed in to show his head (much like the Emperor hologram in ESB) but Artoo would need to be in the room to project the message (this could be borrowed from other scenes the garage scene in ANH would be an ideal place because he's in the same space) :

would it be doable to have the first of the rebel meeting deleted scene worked into AotC somehow to show that there have been concerns over the chancellors poweres from the get go? & that way c3po would be gold in epII

From what I can remember its goes something like this

when Qui gon died there was balance in the force so he was burned on the Pior which is jedi tradition

then later on there is imbalance caused by the Jedi Purge, so Qui gon finds a way back via the force as a spirit (the scene was never completed for the film.)

the imbalance is so strong that OBI & Yoda disolve into the force at the time of their deaths 

when Vader dies he has restored the balance to the force by killing El Sid, & as a result luke Burns his remains as is the tradition.

its been so long since I have watched this movie I just cant remember Anikins posture in the scene.

It's doable (though not easy) but possibly a little pointless and counter productive.

We find out in ROTS that Anakin told Palpatine and Anakin is meant to be keeping a low profile, hiding Padme from Nute Gunray and his agents so getting the Chancellor on the Batphone to have a heart to heart, even on the worst of bad days sounds like replacing one problem with another, rather than working as an active solution.

It might work though, all (like it's really easy and not time consuming at all) you'd have to do would be to take or fake footage of Palpatine looking concerned and paste it over the scene with Padme gone in the holograph style.

If George can have Terence Stamp deliver his lines to Amidala via a mop handle and drop her in later (so she can have the day off) in Episode One doing the opposite should be possible.

 

Wow. This is crazy. I've actually made a version of Anakin talking with Palps just recently...I'll try and post it soon. I do understand where you're coming from Bingowings...but I personally think it would be OK to have Anakin's emotions take over and have him contact Palpatine. It strengthens the relationship they have and shows that Anakin *doesn't* go to Padme or Obi-wan with this issue...I think it's important to make sure the audience realizes this point.

TheoOdo, holy crap! That was great! If Adywan goes with the original structure of the movie this is the right direction. We've got to do something about the image of the Jedi and the force. I have some additional thoughts about introducing the Jedi in TPM that I'll share later...still working it out...

Exactly my point, Anakin was reckless with the raiders & broke the rules, calling his bud in office makes sense to me (& surely the supreme chancellor would use a "Secure" Line for all his calls) as he would be one of the few people who would be able to understand.

I've been thinking about the confession scene in the garage in AotC

would it be possible to paint Padme out & have anikin confess the killings to a holographic Palpatine, & have Padme come in as Palps leave for the "I miss her so much" part

is this doable at all?

its been so long since I have watched this movie I just cant remember Anikins posture in the scene.

is there anyway in RotS to have the Choking sound occur when padme is being strangled & possibly lift her up a couple of inches because at the moment it just looks/sounds B.A.D.

Another idea is when his rocket pack is hit by Han, rather than have him bounce off the side of the Sail Barge, just have him go inside on the side windows or crash through the side wall.  When Luke is on the main Sail Barge, take some shots of Boba so now he is on the top deck; when Luke and Leia start causing havoc and the destruction begins, take a line out of the Holiday special (right before he takes off and escapes) and have him shoot straight up into the sky and get away just like the Holiday special cartoon.  You could possibly modify some shots from THE ROCKETEER or something.

are you forgetting that Jango takes off in AOTC just after darting Zam, with a little colour correction it will work.

I didn't like the idea of giving chewie a medal either but it doesn't stop me from watching it, if it really bugs you that much edit the old ending back in for your own viewing pleasure, after it comes out
