Just finished watching it with the text commentary, the bit in the credits had me in stitches,
I have to watched via iTunes (looks sweet on my iPhone BTW)
due to some glitch on the DVD File it won't let me watch it beyond chapter 20

I have longed for some form of continuity with the overall look of the OT for so long now, & I just Know you are the man for the job.
I have to say that having the TIEs go grey is a Feckin' FANTASTIC idea I can't wait to see em in action.
granted I would also like to see the Republic/Empire have nothing but Green Lasers throughout the 6 movies but hay I'll live with it.
there is a shot that I would love to see fixed - please bare in mind, the my mind is more than likely playing tricks on me here-
as Yoda "lifts the X-wing over the swamp (over & away from the camera) the shadow seems reversed to my eye with the engines shadow going forward where as the ship is going nose forward. could somebody please prove me wrong on this one

Make sure ALL 47 files are in the same folder, and make sure NONE of them have been renamed.
Then open the first file in UnRarX, and wait. UnRarX will show you as it's running which files it's extracting at which given time. Don't touch anything until it's done (this could take a little while). Then, the files should be extracted to a new folder in the same folder that the RAR files are in.
Well it worked, Turns out that 2 of the files hadn't downloaded properly
Heres what I loved about this cut
Re-editing the Bens hut scene to how it was originally intended.
Greedo is finally bad ass.
The Matts are seamless (the one where the MF is beeing towed into the hanger always bugged the crap out of me).
The Ben/Vader battle is wicked now the music really lifts that scene.
Man that final battle is intense,
Biggs gets a kill, They get swapped with TIE's, The trence run is damn near perfect now (the absence of the other ships always bugged me)
all the Jump cuts are gone, Thank the gods
Heres what I didn't like -
Chewie getting the medal 
(I know, I know, stop trowing tomatoes at me)
I just always liked the back story created about Wookies not excepting medals etc.

I discovered this fan edit last week and have just finished reading the first 106 pages of the thread.
Man what a roller coster it must have been for you Adywan -
(at least) 2 computer melt downs, 1 Complete plank sending an unsolicited, unnecessarily ignorant and idiotic email the NHS proving just how stupid they are (FYI - its better than the Irish Health service by a frickin' mile)
from the few clips of this edit I have seen on youtube (Thanks to shellatella) I have to say I am itching to see this edit on my TV next chance I get.
there is one thing I noticed with the Yavin Battle, (& its something that has bugged me for a while now)
Red leader says "Stay there, I just lost my starboard engine"
the next shot is of him getting shot in his Starboard engine right before he crashes.
is this how he dies in this new edit or have you concocted a new and better death for him?
