Help Wanted: a fanedit request

Basically I wouldnt know where to begin to make a fan edit and I would want this done so it looks good and not edited by someone with scissors on steroids. (which is what Im sure mine would look like if I tried it.) I would like a copy of adigitalman's extended edition of Episode 3 with the Shaak Ti sequence removed.

1. The special effects arent complete so it looks poor.

2. Shaak Ti survives the events of Episode 3 as documented in The Force Unleashed.

Can anyone help with this? I would super appreciate it. My birthday is coming up, consider a birthday gift, lol

Im quoting myself to get this thread back on track,

Star Wars Fate of the Jedi: Outcast, or Del Rey just is not trying anymore.

WARNING THIS POST HAS EU SPOILERS IN IT FROM THE LEGACY OF THE FORCE SERIES

Oh OK SkyJedi thanks for that. With these boards its hard to remember who hates what. Im a big fan of the EU and I don't mind too much when characters die, its a little unrealistic when everyone lives forever...excpet when they killed off Mara Jade and Lumiya in the same book. Too of my faves

So in Return of the Jedi right after our intrepid heroes meet the Ewoks the first time Threepio talks to them. We then hear two Ewoks say something to one another. I swear to god it sounds like they say.

"that guy's wise"
"no, he's short"

I have "heard" these Ewoks say that for as long as I can remember. Can we edit out that small ewok speaking line or modify it someway so I dont hear those two crazy lines that have been driving me nuts since Jedi was first released to video?

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

In an effort to keep us all sane and civil to one another can we please drop all references to PT in this thread. Let us talk about the glory that is The Empire Strikes Back.

Adywan, not sure if you saw this suggestion before... At the very end of the Luke vs Vader duel Vader's de-ignition of his lightsaber is not seen on screen and the sound of it is very subdued. Could you make the sound much more pronounced?

My two cents...

I like that idea, and your mock ups look great!

And it doesn't have to create a continuity error with the scene in the swamp in ESB, because R2 couldn't probably fire his boosters because he was under water, and he only flew out of the water because the creature spat him out.

It would be cool if it could be done with the footage from the prequels.

As I suggested in the ESB:R thread R2 could be let off there because of fear of setting off swamp gas so close to the X-Wing.

This change would make the Ewok's less cuddly and set them up as the sort of creatures that could take on the Empire (and also remove a cheap gag at the expense of Chewie's stomach...or give it a more icky undertone).

Ewoks are deadly serious.

Love this idea, I dont even care if it works with the rest of the movie... Maybe we should add mini skulls and things hanging off the Gungans belts too.

i just can't wait to get my hands on those PT moies so i can rip them to shreds.

gawd you depress me so much when you say things like that. I love ANHR and ESBR seems to be right on track as far as quality and vision goes. Yet your vision of the pequels seems to be the same as everyone elses and that means gutting them. With everything you've said that you are taking out of the prequels there doesnt seem to be enough material left for one movie, let alone three. Im just sad I wont have a revisited prequel trilogy to go along with the OTR.

Having him survive is a little too Disney for me.

Like that even comes close to making any sense whatsoever, especially when I describe what he would probably be doing after he survived.

White Vader is cool, but the black suit hid blood stains a lot better.

I didnt mean a LITERAL Disney ending, I was just trying to convey a general idea.

Here is a pic of the White Vader some of you are discussing. I uploaded it so you could all have a look-see. It is from Return of the Jedi Infinities. (A completely bad-ass what-if take on the individual OT movies) Personally I think the White Vader is beyond cool.

However, Vader should die at the end of Return of the Jedi. Having him survive is a little too Disney for me.

My two cents...

Bad Ass White Vader

I think the official EU (read: bullshit ass-covering) explanation is that the warranty on Artoo's jets had expired by the time of the OT, forcing his CPU to lock them off, or something stupid like that.

I think they should be removed from the PT, not added to the OT. I thought they were ridiculous and, frankly, stupid.

I knew this wasnt accurate so I did a little research for you. I got this off of wikipedia (got love them). "The DK Star Wars Complete Visual Guide says that R2-D2 "eventually damaged his boosters," and the company that made them had been shut down by the Empire at that point. " Personally I love the fact that Lucasfilm tries to fix continuity flaws in this manner. This explanation makes perfect sense. Problem solved.

Frankly the entire Star Wars universe is very tight with continuity, especially when compared to other universes. You want a continuity flaw disaster area. Try being a trekkie. Oh man, that universe is a complete mess and I'm only talking about the stuff that they put on screen.

So as far as R2's thrusters are concerned they neither need to be removed from Episodes I-III or added to IV-VI.

My two cents...
