SAVE LANDO!!!!
Time

I am sure I don't speak for just myself when I say I enjoy the EU, enjoy it immensely. Adywan has revealed that he intends to destroy the entire EU with his plans for ROTJ:R. I for one love your work Adywan and I respect that you dont want to ADD anything from the EU into your Revisted trilogy but pleeeeease dont make the entire EU irrelevant by killing off Lando, or any other major character.

Im begging here Adywan. Begging I tell ya.

It's amazing how 9 hours can fly by when you're editing.

The Forest Moon of Endor now has a planet to orbit!

It's a bit rough around the edges, but I think it gets the idea across. :) Enjoy.

At the feathered edge of the galaxy, the Death Star floated in stationary orbit above the green moon of Endor-a moon whose mother planet had long since died of unknown cataclysm and disappeared into unknown realms.

Taken from the third paragraph on the first page of the Return of the Jedi novelization. Nothing to orbit needed.

- Imperial rank insignia ( I bet you Adywan goes ahead and fixes this by the time all is said and done. )
- Darth Vader's super-shiny suit ( New suit, why wouldnt he update, change his armor? Would you wear the same thing for years on end? )
- Darth Vader's lightsaber hilt ( Built a new saber. Hell Id do this even if I didnt need to. )
- C-3PO's midsection wiring ( Updated, replaced etc etc )
- Boba Fett's armor ( etc etc )

That being said it's time for another Star Wars Axia edition moment...and this bugged me before the prequels were a glint in anyone's eye so its not a case of making the OT fit the PT. Its a case of a Jedi not carrying his lightsaber...he would build a new one.

This thread is an olive branch to Darth Axia. She's not nearly as strident or irritating as other Lucasites, so I'd like for us to post 100 different enjoyable post-1983 Star Wars items in tribute.

I agree, Axia cannot even be compared in the slightest to many of the obsessive Lucas apologists we have had come our way over the lifetime of this site.

Thanks C3PX, I wish I could see this whole thread, its doing that can-only-see-half-of-it thing.  Haha! I can see it now! Apparently this site doesnt like IE or vice-versa so I was forced to use Firefox.

60. The Force Unleashed
61. Sideshow Collectibles
62. Aayla Secura
63. Karen Travis
64. Star Wars Legos
65. Star Wars Celebration (got to have dinner with David Prowse, man that was fun)
66. Jedi Starfighters (I love those things)

There was nothing all that negative about TheBoost's original post. He made a good point.

It is kind of exhusting that 99.9% of all your posts are complaints about us.

Can you really find everything about Star Wars and LFL throughout the ages so mind numbingly amazing?

Even the most avid fans of the PT could easily agree with TheBoost original post. Sometimes it feels that you are just trying to make a counter culture here disagreeing with everything said against SW in anyway. Making everything people complain about out to be something that is in reality spectacular.

Rest assured, there is no need to do that. There are enough unconditional SW fans out there already. Trust me, breaths of fresh air are good for you.

Actually, I had been concentrating really hard lately on not trying to be negative in my posts. I like how this is a relatively small community of Star wars fans that I can have a serious conversation with. This is why I stick around. You cant have conversations on theforce.net as too many people go there. Your post just gets lost amoung the other 100s of fans. (Im also willing to bet the average age of the posters is far below mine) I tried Galacticsenate.com but they dont seem to have a lot of posters or very interesting discussions.

Im not trying to create a counter culture here, I'm really not. I also dont suggest that we start making TV shows about any of you and saying it would be dumb. I don't recall attacking anyone around here personally, just disagreeing with their opinions.

Also I am not a Lucasite, There were things about the Prequels I LOATHED. There were a couple of Clone Wars episodes I didn't like at all and Indy IV was a farce that the English language is not adept enough to convey properly.

As far as there being enough unconditional Star Wars fans out there...I have no idea where you are seeing this. Even people that actually like the PT seem to need to apologise for doing so in their posts.

but Ill end on what started all this in the first place. What would you rather Lucasfilm do with previously established stories? Just ignore them? Isnt that part of the reason that a large number of you hate Lucas for?

edit: I went to this thread first before seeing the Top 100 thread, I need to add how awesome it was of everybody to do that. I was going to post there but only half the page loads. bummer
