They are Lucas' movies. Love em or leave em. Ive been force to listen to people complain about HIS property since 1997 and I'm sick to death of it. If you want the originals so bad watch them on an old VHS without stereo. (First day of release only had mono mixes) The quality of the playback on those old VCRs and the contiuing degrading quality of your VHS tapes should be pretty close to the quality you experienced in a theater in 77.

They arent' your movies, they are Lucas'. Don't like it? Stop complaining about and move on to something you do like. I love the SE and Im sick to death of all the jaded haters.

You dont have to watch, you don't have to buy it. I've never understood the Special Edition hatred, they added far more to the movies then they took away.

A couple things, more space or Snow battle is always good. yeah!

I'm really intrigged by the idea of changeing Vader's line from "Obi-Wan once thought..." To "Your Mother once thought as you do". I really like this idea.

I do not however like any ideas that completely disregard the EU. So no killing Bobab Fett or blowing up the MF with Lando on board. No, no, no. This was one thing I loved about SWANHR is that ADYWAN didnt gut anything and I hope he maintains that. (removing Boba Fett Entirely from RotJ is far less objectionable...Why is he there just hanging out?)

The idea of adding a planet that the moon of Endor can orbit is a good one except for one thing. On the very first page of the RotJ Novelization is says "...Endor_a moon whose mother planet had long since died of some cataclysm and disappered into unknown realms." So no planet neccessary.

According to the Star Wars Episode 2 Visual Dictionary those rockets of Artoo's only had a lifetime of about twenty years so they would no longer be functional. I say leave the prequel rockets in and the absence of them in the OT alone.

BTW where can I see this "extended Alderaan destuction" sequence?

Personally I would stick with John Williams Star Wars score, anything else is going to sound out of place, though some of the music not composed by Williams for The Force Unleashed is quite good. (anyone have a link for the TFU OST?)

An example would be the OST in The Clone Wars, the non-Williams cues sounded quite jarring to me at times.

Yes I feel since the start of the Rebellion is clearly established in TFU that the edited scenes in RotS are just the start of that road. All I want is basically the ADM Extended edition of RotS with the full Shaak Ti killed scene taken out. I was hoping someone could do this since I have never done anything like that.

Hey all, I love this forum and all the projects that happen here. I was wondering if anyone was willing to make an extended edition of Episode 3 that fits in with Star Wars The Force Unleashed continuity. Since Shaak Ti is in that story her scene would have to be left out of Ep 3 extended edition. Id like all the deleted scenes included as I prefer the extended edition but we need Shaak Ti out of there. Can anyone do this?

when I first saw the trailer for this idea I was really excited. I really really wanted to see these. You talk about being in a post ady-wan world but I dont think his brilliant ANH treatment has that much impact on your Reborn idea. Nothing short of genius...please dont give this up!!

Okay I watched the early screening you had posted and I have some feedback. These are of course just my opinions, please take them or leave them.

I like the overall concept of what you have going here, its interesting.

The wipes need to be less severe. The hard edges are VERY jarring. I would use more Lucasian wipes.
I also didnt like the music drowning out the Sound FX of Obi-Wan's Jedi starfighter and the music only portion of Yoda and Sidious' fight is blasphemy in my book. I would never cut out lightsaber duel sound effects.

Okay the answer to how the Walkers got through the shield is actually in the dialogue for Empire. Vader says "..make ready to land our troops BEYOND their energy field and deploy the fleet so..." so the shield is probably at most hemisphereical and the walkers just had a long hike.

Okay so I cant help myself, here are some ideas for Adywan's treatment of Episode V, The Empire Strikes back

1. Removal of entire Vader shuttle sequence, it ruins the timing of this sequence.
2. Reinstatment of original "Bring my shuttle" line.
3. Molten metal edges to lightsabers going through metal during Luke/Vader fight
4. On-screen de-ignition of Vader's Saber after end of fight.
5. Enhancment of de-ignition sound of Vader's saber at end of fight.
6. On-screen de-ignition of Luke's Saber when he follows Vader off of the Carbon Freezing platform.
7. Fixing Stromtrooper's fallen Shoulder pad in Han being carbon froze sequence
8. Removal of Han's bicep cuffs as they are not in Return of the Jedi
9. Clouds needed in shot of Lando and Luke re-entering Falcon from under Cloud City
10. SE shot of Falcon approaching platform 327 looks "wrong" somehow. The Falcon looks flat or something, I cant explain, the shot just bugs me. I dont want this removed as I love all the new Bespin exteriors but the Falcon needs fixed.
11. fixing Saber colors, Thier widths are fine but Vader's seems to be almost pink in some shots in the SE DVDs.
12. Fix timing of sound, perhaps adding on-screen de-ignition of Saber as Luke exits Wampa cave.
13. It would be nice if the AT-AT could squash the Snow speeder a little flatter, don't know how feasible that is.

1. More At-ATs Snow speeders in background of battle. Perhaps another snowspeeder can do the leg thing after Luke's success in the background? Perhaps add some probe droids, speder bikes and AT-STs. Strafing runs of retreating rebels at end of battleby tie-fighters isn't out of the realm of possibility.
2. More tiefighters in asteroid chase? Plenty of rocks for them to run into.

3. Perhaps the Falcon could fire at these ties. Those turrets can be controlled from the cockpit, just not as well as having someone actually in the turret. Besides we don't see the Falcon fire those things at all in Empire.
4. Maybe a couple more ships protecting the transports departure? Maybe some ties could race out to great them and be destroyed in a brief exchange of fire as the transport gets past the Star Destroyer?
5. All new shots in the Asteroid chase? Dont know how hard rocks are to do in 3d software. However Id want the musical cues in this scene retained which means you'd have to delete stuff to insert new...nevermind.
6. Perhaps a MUCH LARGER fleet could arrive at Hoth and have the planet surrounded, this would explain why the transports go straight at a Star Destroyer instead of taking another direction.
7. Do something to address the fact that Luke gets off the planet without seeing a single Imperial ship, let alone engaging one.
8. Luke having a vision of Leia and Han during Dagobah similar to Anakin’s visions in RotS

Well thers my initial thoughts, Now I think Ill do one for Jedi

Ady, absolutely Amazing!! This is my pereferred edition of Star wars now. And this is one super obsessed Star wars fan talking. Check out proof here. I even liked the music added to the lightsaber battle. I didnt think I would but I like it.

I never got to see the Alderaan footage with Bail and Jar Jar, does anyone have a link to this, Id love to see it.

So. Is it too soon to start postinf our ideas for Empire and Jedi?
