I wanted to keep the AOTC duel mostly as a teas to Yoda. Yoda's fight is cut, similar to Gandalf's in FOTR. ESB (which focuses much on Yoda, the great warrior) will open to the battle just as TT did to Gandalf's.

I haven't been able to successfully retreive the ac3 track from the ifo track lately. I'll try copying the files to my internal HDD first and then try again. If that doesn't work I'll try another program.

Well I'm fluent in French so I thought I'd might aswell help someone out with the french subs. Ripplin, any suggestions on the menu screens and intros? If anyone is good at edited, try a stab at it. Either a manip/photoshop image or a video.

Ady, when it's all finished, are you gonna release a version with your adjustments minus any new soundtrack from your part? Like, will you have a version with all the visual and sound effects/speech adjustments with the original soundtrack available?

Well I planned for the X-Mas launch but things keep friggen commin' up!!! I had people over during the weekend and during all the commotion water spilled into my keyboard and ruined the hell out of it. So now I'll have to see what I can do without the keyboard until Friday. I worked today and I work tomorrow, so I'll try and finish the audio ripping (I have the AVI) of TPM on thursday so that on Saturday or Sunday I can work on it. (I'm going out dancing this Friday with my friends and Saturday I've got an appoitment out of town). I'll just go with whatever time I have now. If it gets done on Christmas it will, if not it won't.

In terms of Special Features Here's What I would like:

1. Commentary

2. Prologue Deleted Scene

3. English Subtitles (I'm at 50/50 here)

4. French Subtitles (MAYBE - like 25% chance haha)

Also, if I end up spending a while on the DVD I will release a trailer or two which would be included on the DVD.

Anyone have ideas for DVD intro, main menu (and preview shots), Special Features Menu (Deleted Scene and Trailers), Chapter Selection, Settings (Commentary, Subtitles)

Things to be re-worked

1. Cut out the prologue

2. Replace the opening A-Man Logo

3. Rework Vader's Entrance Theme - Imperial March to fit better

4. New music for R2's canyon exploration

5. Removing the Jawa tank scenes

6. Fading in and out to and from sepia tones for AOTC scenes to avoid confusion

7. Music in Ben's hut will be turned down

8. Rework the "dark twist" to the music during the remote training sequence

9. Removing the droid factory sequence (including the droid-head business during the battle) and emplacing their capture and maybe trial with Dooku

10.Re-work the music transition from Obi-Wan's duel to the slow-mo sequence

11. Re-Working the Millenium Falcon's lift-off

12. Re-Work sound effects in the AOTC chase scene

New things:

1. Very fast flashes come to Vader's mind once he says "a presence I've not felt since..."

2. A sequence of Anakin and Qui-Gon's talks and Qui-Gon addressing the council come in after Obi-Wan and Luke talk in the hut.

3. TPM scenes will be golden toned to contrast the red toned ROTS scenes

Technical Errors:

1. Check all of the transitions

2. Fix the credit mistakes

Just so you guys know, I have to fix all this in the next two weeks. Haha.

Hey guys I've been swamped with studies, work and my computer has been starting to fail on me. Also I have no idea where TPM is so I'll probably go rent it  tomorow or something and then get those scenes put in. I need to finish off the final render ASAP so I can put it on my External and reformat the computer. I'm hoping to get the final render done by the end of the month so that I can do the Menu by Christmas so that it can go online for December 25th.

I don't know if this will help or not but we're selling some pretty detailed die-cast models of the Millenium Falcon and some Snow Speeders for $20 Canadian.

I feel Anakin should've been introduced as a teenager and it should've been the start of the clone wars. The film should end with an army of Jedi taking out the droids.

Ep 2 should've introduced an army of sith and this is why the Jedi resort to using clones. No Kamino bullshit and Darth Maul should have survived. Qui-Gon should also have survived until Episode 2. In the end of Episode 2, Maul is killed and another sith assumes second in command.

In Episode 3, the second in command guy (who is BRIEFLY) introduced in Episode 1 should be killed at the begining, swapping him for Dooku. Grievous should be Maul rebuilt. In the end, Anakin should send an army of sith to the jedi temple. Hears that need reinforcements and arrives with the clones. He kills everyone. First the Jedi and then the Surviving sith because the emp said they're too week.

The Sith Vs Jedi should be a lot like the Old Republic trailer that was released and we should see Anakin killing everyone.

Anakin should have been Joaquin Phoenix, no Jar Jar or at least his voice should have been low and he should not have been stupid or have had bad grammar.

Anakin should not have built 3PO and Owen should be introduced in Episode 1 and he should be jealous that Anakin can leave but he can't.

Yoda should have looked like Yoda did in ESB. Him as a CGI is fine, otherwise too many CG aliens.

Nope. I knew this would happen. I planned on it. I was gonna do it once. Watch with some people, maybe doing a private screening then Ripplin asked if I wanted any help and so I asked him. I'm gonna get back to work on it sometime before the weekend to get the film finished for when I leave for Texas. That way when I get back I can just get straight to the DVD work.

Well as I said almost one year ago, the edit will be released on December 25th, 2009 (The last friday of the year).

Let me know if you guys would like some photoshop stuff done.

Here's how I learned. I'd just go with it, and when I hit a problem I would just google my question and get the answer. If I couldn't get the answer I just asked in the tech thread. Most of my problems were with audio and rendering but I got by that. Just go with it, it's very easy to use and it gives you a lot of freedom and control.

DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!! My computer restarded for some stupid reason during the final save!!! I'm now left with an empty file of no pixels!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna have to work off of the temporary flattened image I made a while ago. This freaking sucks!
