Keeping the right aspect ratio
Time
I want to change a fullscreen, 2.35:1, 720x480 avi into (anamorphic)widescreen, 2.35:1, 720x480 or 720x576. The movie has 276 or 277. Before resizing how many lines should I cut of the top and bottom to preserve the aspect ratio? 120? And if I cut 15 vertical lines from the side? 720/480=1.5 -> 15/1.5=10 extra horizontal lines? It doesn't matter if I resize to 480 or 576 the aspect will be the same right?

Dr. M's Reinventing The Wheel Edition (PAL to NTSC+) (Released)
Time
End of side 1 is Owen leaving the house when he's searching for Luke. Begin side 2 is Luke and C3PO speeding through the dessert. I'm not at home so I can't check my avis for the other disc/side changes. I also tried replacing Moth3r's audio (I tried adding PCM audio to the PAL m2v) and in the first half of the movie it went well, but after that it gets worse. In the death star battle the audio seemed to be a bit behind then a bit ahead and so on. So in the end I gave up.

America lost it's credibility when Bush was elected as president.
Freon is banned in most parts of the world but the worlds biggest pollutor: America, probably doesn't give a shit! Ever heard about Kyoto?
What does your president do? Starting an illigal war so you can burn more and more fossil fueles. All the billions of dollars pumped into america's war machine would be better spend in new clean technology. Does America care about the rest of the world or is she just busy "protecting the homeland"? I don't want to blame every american or something, I know you're deeply devided yourselfs (I'd say about 50:50). But you don't get the news from the world unbiassed on your tv screens.

Slimline Cover Art?
Time
[Arnie.d, because your cover's spine is just plain black no one really needs the original Photoshop file to produce proper slimline cases.

I know but it is much easier.

I often have multiple versions of a cover in one psd. I really like the layers in photoshop. I have for instance multiple poster art, different backs, different spines, different logos in one psd. That way I can make a combination by selecting layers and print whatever I want.

Slimline Cover Art?
Time
What is the dimension of the spine from a slimline box? I made some covers of the definitive collection for my own ld to dvd transfer and I have the photoshop files so it's easy to adjust the spine (in the right way so aspect ratio remains the same).

I wanted my covers to resemble as much as possible the laserdisc covers of the definitive collection. So there no dvd logo etc on it. Nothing fancy, just black like the laserdisc covers. You can ofcourse add what you like, I also have them with poster art.

Star Wars Ewok Adventures - double feature DVD (2004) - official release
Time

Are there any plans to release a Region 2 PAL version of the DVDs?

It is out already, I bought it. No bootleg, 100% official release!

Since it was made for TV the aspect ratio would be 4:3 or essentially 1.33:1, so there is no 16:9 (1.85:1 or 1.78:1 Widescreen TV) or cinematic widescreen (2.35:1).

Isn't every film shot in widescreen?

I actually saw Caravan of Courage in the cinema - it was shown theatrically here in the UK.

So it does excist!!!
