You would be better off watching the movie (I didn't say pay for it) and making notes of all the inaccuracies. That way, when people like Arnie try to claim something as fact from the movie, you'll be well armed to dispel the myth.
Of course, that won't matter much I guess. Most of the people that go to see the movie will already have their minds made up and nothing anyone says to dispute the claims in the movie will change their mind. Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 had the same effect and people continue to speak the falsehoods portrayed as facts from those movies.

this movie is from the same guy who did the movie nixon which was overly dramatic one sided, and untrue to historical events.
typical of the lefties.
i'll ovoid this movie like the plague unless it is funny as an accident, kinda like farenheit was lampooning how stupid bush was, before family guy and american dad got in on the act.

A list of inaccuracies would be helpfull indeed (btw, is there a list for columbine and fahrenheit?)
But I'm seriously interested in this movie. I really like Stone movies like Alexander, Any Given Sunday, Savior, JFK and Born On The 4th Of July.
Besides it's also about the life of Bush as I understand and I like the guy when he's not playing President. It's a fun guy to hang out with.
We'll see if it's propaganda...

Since Iraq and the middle east is in a worse state than when Saddam was around, no, we didn't really gain anything through his downfall.
I can't believe that some people can possibly defend the war in Iraq. Okay, maybe some people had different expectations when they first went in there, but after everything thats happened and come out, theres really nothing positive to say about it.

That's exactly how I think about it too.

- Is a "seamless branching" DVD of all the versions of a SW film possible?

What is easier to do if you have 2 versions of 1 scene is just paste them after eachother in the same m2v stream and during authoring make 2 different chapter playlist, each with one version of the scene. GOPs have to be closed. I authored with dvd-lab and the point in the movie where a chapter will be skipped was marked as a layerbreak. The result is that a pause can be visible on some dvd players. I solved this by editing the ifo file with dvdremake and mark all chapter points as seamless. I've tried it once to make an edit of Star Wars with deleted scenes and it played seamless. Only thing is you can get trouble with the audio track. For example, in Ep. 4 the Death Star battle has changed quite a bit. Sometimes the sound of an explosion continues in the next scene. But in the SE that next scene can be very different with different audio so you won't get a smooth transition. A solution can be to take a large enough piece of footage so it starts with the same audio.
Combining scenes to make a branching version containing basically 5 movies seems too difficult for me with all the different audio and also colors/saturation/LD source. I think some scenes will stick out too much. Maybe a bracnhing version of the OT and the SE but that's it. More would be too complicated, for me anyway. AOTC and ROTS with the option "deleted scenes" is pretty easy to make.

You mean the characters that change all the time? I think that's just to say the subs (or dubs) are in 19 different languages (which is written in 19 different languages).
Isn't this website and movie the work of Ted Turner?

That kind of politics is common in mosts governments including the US government. And France was not the only one, Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine were also involved.
Besides, what did anyone had to gain from going to war with Iraq?

Sure, Saddam had WMD in 1988. After the first Gulf war I'm not so sure. Although not fully cooperating after the first Gulf war it would have been almost impossible for Saddam to make WMD.

The guidebook that comes with the DC has a list of the chapters that have commentary so that way you can quickly skip to a chapter with commentary.

I also assumed the PAL version was cropped a bit more at the top and bottom. Apparently I'm also wrong about that.
