Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

Oh, yeah, it should be lossless, what I meant was that if you guys want me to include the other mixes in lossless I'd be happy to as long as they're served on a silver platter.

I actually found out that I have Belbucus' mono mix restoration in lossless flac. But I don't know what to do with it - I doubt it can be used as is, plus it probably isn't GOUT synced (though it only needs a slight time-shift if it isn't). I could convert it to wav in Audacity but a wav file will be like 1GB, whereas the flac file is only 300MB, so converting to wav seems like a waste of space - isn't there any BD compatible lossless format that would give a similar size as the flac?

Isn't Dolby TrueHD lossless?

Also, you don't need Audacity to do FLAC->WAV. All you need to do is "flac -d myfile.flac". Look here for other command-line options.

Some cars don't give you the option.

They give you the option of not driving it.

Tell that to the food delivery drivers using their own cars* and just barely making ends meet.

(*Note: Most food delivery driving jobs in the USA require drivers to provide their own transportation.)

As of now, I only have hairy_hen's 5.1 in DTS HD. I thought I had the monomix in PCM wav somewhere but can't find it. I don't care for audio all that much and lossless makes no difference to me, so if you audio buffs want lossless audio, you'll have to provide it GOUT synced and ready to be muxed in. Someone told me that DTS HD MA 2.0 would be smaller than PCM, so I'd prefer them in that format.

I can send you the lossless monomix PCM WAV if you'd like, Harmy.

That's excellent! Do you have a DVD player available with s-video out?

If so, would you be willing to capture the Snell & Wilcox Zone Plate from Digital Video Essentials via s-video with your BT878?

I'm not interested in evaluating its comb filter (hence the choice of s-video over composite), but I am interested in evaluating the effective resolution and chroma frequency response.

I can provide an m2v of the Snell & Wilcox Zone Plate if you don't own Digital Video Essentials.

I know this is a bit much to ask, so I'd greatly appreciate it...

LFL needs to learn that the money comes from the parents of the children rather than the children themselves.

Parents need to learn that purchasing junk (including, but not limited to, the SEs) from LFL is not a required tax on all citizens of the world.

Problem solved!

OK, guys, last chance for any v2.1 suggestions you may have.

Are you going to include the 1985 home stereo mix?  (I believe it would be ripped from a 1989 laserdisc, which I think is floating around here, but I have no idea if it's been GOUT-sync'd).

This was part of the first editdroid release of ANH, although it was mislabeled as the original Dolby Stereo mix. Gout-synched.

Just wondering: Was it from a digital or analog source?

Schorman's Digital Rip of the 1977 Stereo Mix would be a great addition, as it seems to sound better than the analogue rip of the same mix.

Agreed. Please try to GOUT-sync this one, Harmy! It'd be greatly appreciated.

Also, have you considered Schorman13's digital '77, '80, and '83 mixes taken from those Japanese LDs?
