Thank you all. But my two cuts are just above mediocre at best, and I’ve decided to not share them any more.

I have fallen totally out of love with Star Wars, although TPM always have a nostalgic place in my heart.

I do not wish to share products I don’t feel represent my editing abilities nor my personality.

Uhm, I could perhaps do so after work. Sorry for late response. I actually dont like Star Wars anymore. I know it sounds silly, but its true. Im always lurking on the Fanedits of other projects thread and completely forget about SW edits. Also;

These movies are the magnum-opus of TV-To-Movie fanedits, and quite possibly the greatest way of watching Game of Thrones to be honest, faithful to the original feel of the show in an amazingly edited feature lengths, i watched all 8 seasons on HBO Max, and then watched the first 4 movies and can’t wait to see what Anjohan does with the finale.

Moreover, I’m longing to burning the edits into DVDs and put them right with my Lord of the Rings trilogy.

If want to be reaaally nit-picky in a other wise perfect series of edits, I think the titles should perhaps follow more closely the book titles (even if the series adapted only up to the 5th book).

I cant recommend these edits enough, if i would present GoT to my friends, this would definitely be a nice introduction to the show 😃

You flatter me beyond belief, friend, and definitely this is up there with one of those comments that make all the work feel worth it and motivate me to keep going for more, quality edits.

Goblet of Fire Revisited will be released first, and then DH Revisited. I would recommend you to watch the 1080p 15 gig first, as the quality should be quite satisfactory. But of course, if you want to wait many more months - you are very so welcome!

Oh, and which Voldy shot did look a little transparent? I can’t seem to find the one you mean, except for perhaps the one angle in which Harry’s started to melt quirells hand. That one was tricky.

Edit: Fixing the Devils snare scene now. Keeping it plausible that the plant teared Harry’s clothes.

Edit: Softened and fixed the kinda transparent angle of Voldemort, that I could find.

Top-of-the-head changes:

• GoF-Voldemort on the back of Quirell’s head.
• Some minor movement added to certain “dull” shots (read: too many static shots). This has been done to a great degree in V2, so in this version a tad more.
• A few tweaks to the opening intro. Better snow and clouds.

- Surround added ontop of the Stereo track, as to create a very, very impressive stereo soundtrack, in which the audio levels have been manually edited throughout the entire, full runtime. Dialogue and sfx is now clearer and more impressive than ever before, and even on my 9.1 surround sound home cinema, there is not much difference to an ordinary, channeled audio soundtrack.

• Replaced three bad shots with a lot of noise with 4K shots of replaced scene. I wanted to do the same with a Hagrid/Harry scene, but it was just as bad on the 4K version as the HD one…
• Improved color grading to a couple of scenes.
• More color as Harry discovers Hogwarts, and gradually getting a tad more ominous and dark as the film progresses.
• Fixed freeze frames from V2 version.
• Improved black backgrounds. Due to the film being shot on film, and a 1080p master as the source, there is only so much I can do.
• Removed the Key chase scene in-between the Devil’s snare and the Chess game. Structurally, this works so much better. Fluffy is the first challenge, the Chess challenge the second (at a staggering 6 minute runtime) and then Voldemort at a solid 7 minutes as the third challenge. It flows better, feels better - and also, the Key Challenge is awkward from start to finish. Bad CGI, no stake - and no importance to Harry’s arc.

Ive been editing in silence as to not put too much pressure on myself in these dark and difficult times, so the updated version of the film is actually right around the corner. 😄

UPDATE:

For the V3 update of Sorcerers, Voldemort is now GoF-Voldemort thanks to the amazing work of Deepfake and the app Reface. This is a continuity fix well worth the trouble!
