Anyone who has the blu-ray rips just check the part where the Tydirium is approaching Endor. It lasts until around the speeder bike chase. It's the same on the HDTV 2004 version too. It is such a huge drop in image clarity it looks almost DVD upscaled. Compare it to the rest of the movie and you will see what i mean.

Yeah. Even from the HDTV rips that was the quality. Never got why the unfocused shots are so oftern in this movie. Wasnt a rumor that this movie supposed being shot with new cameras?

I like the hyperspace. But the clip needs more work IMO. Everything goes a bit fast due the end of the clip. Even it matches with the music and the tone.
The Slave cockpit needs some enhancement too

How about the ewok who steals the speeder bike, he's got some close ups. or how about the baby ewok shot, it's a big close up? Or one of the Logray, Chief Chirpa shots, the shot where they've all got their spears pointed at them?
The ewok who steals the speeder is the protagonist ewok right? It gets the eye treatment in some shots. when he is on the bike he is with his original eyes.

When vader goes to inform palpatine about his son the overall brightness seem to reveal a brighten area that added to focus palpatine's face.
The noooo scene seems to be in the movie at the end...

I like the additional eyes just for the sake of doing something executed well and not aesthetically right, if you know what i mean.

The main problem is that the painting really does stand out as a painting when combined with the real clouds. Also you only really see the city at one angle and i would like to be able to add some slight differences, especially when the falcon is rescuing Luke/ escaping. It isn't a really intricate model so the time scale to build it would be relatively short. Out of all the shots you see the city, the only one that works and doesn't look like a painting now is the Luke approach with the sun behind the city. the rest, well, look like crap.

Anyhow got some ideas and previz how you want the shots look?

Also that model proves that bottom surface that luke is hanged is angled :)

I agree. Slight more light can sell the idea better.
One question tho. Why the shuttle comes from the tiny hangar in ROTJ and here we have leaving from the main one?
Either way i cant wait for the new (distant) star destroyer element that ady said will replace :)
