I love how consistent the logos look, and the color coding is an interesting idea. However, I’d go with a different color for 5. 5 and 6 should be cyan and magenta to properly contrast the others.

I think using the Prequel senate would confuse people about whether or not this is Coruscant.

I’ve always thought it’d be neat if the lights flicker off the moment Sidious whipped out his lightsaber, as if his force lightning was so powerful it was leaking from him and shortcircuiting his surroundings. Then you could have them keep flickering back on occasionally throughout the scene. IT would really add some intensity and atmosphere to the scene.

I’ll limit myself to things that aren’t SE changes or could be done with editing existing material.

Yeah, that’s the mindset I had. The latter part that is. I wanted to focus on changing things that aren’t beyond our abilities to change and wouldn’t disregard a widely known aspect of Canon in doing so. You can change a film’s title for edits all you like, but in conversation it will be forever known by its official title. Same with things like lightsaber color.

Mods, feel free to move this to the fanedit section if you deem it more appropriate. You can include spinoffs if you want, although I won’t. I’ll go first.

TPM: Make Anakin 10 years older.

AotC&RotS: Make all the Jedi’s lightsabers blue.

ANH: Include the scene of Luke and Biggs on Tatooine.

TESB: Clarify the timeline.

RotJ: Make the other Vader instead of Luke.

TFA: Have the film end with the shot of Luke tossing his lightsaber away.

TLJ: Pick a different title.

Honestly, I was thinking of maybe someday tackling this as a Lego stop-motion project.

Maybe we can deepfake Hayden over existing footage of Lloyd and redub the voice. He’d just be an older kid who hasn’t quite hit his growth spurt yet.

No, from what I’ve heard it was always going to be a kid, Lucas just aged him down from 12 to 9 because he thought a 12 year old wouldn’t be so distraught over leaving his mother behind. Then again, I believe there was concept art done for the film with Mark Hamill’s face.

Lego TFA is what did it for me. Being able to actually walk around freely in it…I even used it as one of my references when building the Falcon in Minecraft.

We definitely need to see Obi-Wan getting in the Speeder somehow. A shot of Anakin on the drone would also be greatly beneficial.

I like the holocron idea. It’s one of those things that creates more questions than answers but in a good way. Mystery is good.

One idea I had a while back for generating mystery was labeling every film as part of the 34th saga in the opening crawl. Makes you feel like you’re seeing but a fraction of this wide universe, and makes you wonder what other grand tales there are to tell in it.

I never thought about how much more in character it is for Anakin to be the one jumping out the window.

Maybe I would post pictures of pretty women if I could actually find some. In the most baffling statistical anti-miracle, I cannot for the life of me find any picture on the entire Web of women whose looks are to my taste. I know my tastes are a bit less conventional, but come on. I’m not asking for any crazy fetishes here. These women are not that hard to come by IRL.
