It’s hard to keep objectivity after a while. Here’s a test of the idea. Let me know what you think because I might just have to render out a V2.1 of my edit for this.

Cheers!
Wow, that is flawless! Where’d you get the line from?
Now to establish Jannah as Finn’s sister, something that would go a long way to explaining his instant connection to her. After meeting, he suddenly spends all his time with her as if he forgot Rose. Them being siblings makes sense given their shared backstory. The only issue is that it’s maybe a big contrived to just randomly stumble upon your long-lost sibling in an entire galaxy, but it’s not like SW hasn’t done that before. Then again, I suppose you could argue they’re “spiritually” siblings already because of their shared backstory. Maybe I’m overthinking things.
That makes the part with the force ghosts at the end basically pointless and distracts from the main focal point of the scene, Luke saying goodbye to his father
Honestly I wasn’t thinking of it in the context of the completed scene. I was thinking more “man, that would be a cool shot”. Not sure how it could be smoothly integrate without messing with the flow.
And Rose’s reaction works perfectly with it too. She’s clearly distraught about it.
In the Battle of Exegol, when Finn is telling Rose to leave without him, he says “We’re gonna hit the command deck. Rose…please…go.” What if instead he said “We’re gonna hit the command deck. Rose…I love you." I think this would be a good way of saying to audience “don’t worry, we didn’t forget about their kiss in the last film” instead of pretending it didn’t happen.
Add Anakin’s ghost watching his own funeral pyre.
“Coruscant” “mistake on Naboo” and “disappointed” all sound off.
That’s fair too.
Personally I feel it would make sense to deepfake Caroline Blakiston over Genvieve O’Reilly since the latter still looks as young as she did in RotS, which is rather odd.
The sentence mixing doesn’t feel up to a reasonable quality standard to splice into the film.
Without any sort of documentation of what the actual edits are it isn’t much use.
Most of these edits are on fanedit.org, so you could just look them up there. Failing that, you could look them up on Google. I mostly thought people would use this site to find the links to edits they’ve seen elsewhere, not the other way around.
Yeah, in retrospect I think this is pretty handy, since any edit you come across on IFDb is probably there.

1: Why do the Separatists want Amidala dead if she is the one opposing a military response to the Separatists, and as such is the closest thing to an ally that they have?
It’s made pretty clear that it’s just Nute Gunray seeking petty revenge for the events of the last film.
4: Why does the Republic not know about the army that they ostensibly ordered? Did the cloners not bother to get any confirmation or send any updates?
While it is somewhat unlikely, the idea of it getting lost in bureaucracy over a decade is humorously plausible.
And he would’ve gotten away with it too if it weren’t for those meddling Rebels and their damn Wookiee.
The Backyardigans were named after the Cardigans in reference to the show’s musical aspect.
Ask Corridor Digital. It’s not some rando here who’s gonna do it. Even then, they’d probably only do a few clips.
There’s been different takes on Palpatine’s transformation, and ditching the other three Jedi has been at least attempted before.
Geez, I think this whole dyad solution is a bit convoluted and unnecessary. The dyad works with Ben and Rey because there’s an actual connection as they communicate the Force regularly and work together in the end to bring down Papa Palpy. Leia does none of that. The whole drawing of attention to her in RotJ feels like a narrative dead-end. You can’t just say “oh btw she’s your Force-sister” and then do nothing with it.
So, how would you remove the connection?
Yoda says there is another. Never elaborate on it. Obi-Wan doesn’t talk about it, Vader taunts Luke out of hiding just by saying he’s led his friends to their deaths and Obi-Wan’s failure is now complete. It can be inferred to be Anakin is the other based on his actions in RotJ. Even without him, I see nothing wrong leaving the audience with a little mystery rather than spelling everything out.

That’s why removing the sibling connection is a much better approach.
Welp, I think I just failed a midterm.
Amazon wtf is your problem? I’ve unsubscribed from Audible like 50 times and you keep billing me. Rot in hell, Bezos.
For once I did a good chunk of this week’s reading…aaaaaaaaaand the conference section skips the reading discussion to focus on reviewing for the test.
If you’re referring to the Doctor Who serial, you should probably state that in the title of the thread.
Honestly, I thought Returns was leagues better than '89.
