Honestly, I’d be down for that. Can we make a cut of the Saga with R2 and 3PO dubbed to provide fourth wall breaking meta commentary?

You know what would be really neat? If instead of getting Ian McDiarmid or an impersonator for Palpatine, they got Seth MacFarlane to do his Robot Chicken Palpatine. Would really suit the parodic tone of a Lego game.
Polka dot saber.
I don’t have any in particular, just that middle section of the third film in general.
I doubt any of the callbacks were intentional. JJ Abrams didn’t even know who Plagueis was, and he was mentioned in the movies, and you expect me to believe he knows who Darth Caedus was? These are unintentional callbacks, so of which come from simply being obvious directions to take the story in.
Love the new ending, Snooker!
I like the idea of making the Skywalker Saber unstable like Kylo’s.
Rename Pasaana to Persona, and have the Phantom Thieves join the desert chase.
Could anything be done to tighten up the pacing of the slow Coruscant portions of the films? Mainly in RotS. They just drag on and on, but they’re unfortunately pretty crucial.
I watched both of those too, and was confused because he’d already died in those shows with a completed arc.
Solely because when I watched it in the cinema an elderly woman started bursting with laughter. 😂
That’s amazing. This is why I’m okay with Darth Maul’s appearance in Solo.
Someone in the row in front of us just went, “whaaaaaaat?”
So did everybody else (in their heads).
A compelling analysis of Rey’s character flaw in TROS and how it could have been fixed.

A Closer Look
https://youtu.be/FVkIsr52LxwI just watched the whole video…I’m now super pissed Lucasfilm hired a “hack” writer like Chris Terrio for this movie who clearly doesn’t understand how write a character arc. God, why do such amateurs keep getting hired in Hollywood…so frustrating!
TBF, Argo was really good. That said, while I haven’t seen it, I’ve practically heard horror stories about BvS.
He’s gonna play Alfred in the next Batman movie, and I doubt his voice in the role will have anything weird, so there’s that.
Also, gotta love that we’re finally getting to see the man do something in human form for a change. I mean, I’m sure he’s done it before, but he doesn’t do it often.
Here’s a rough idea for changing the music in the final scene:

As nice as this is, I wouldn’t end the Saga on character centric theme. The Force Theme, as overused as it is, is perfect because it’s universal within the Saga.
That being said, I wish I could rent out a theater and have a nine-day viewing of this whole thing with y’all. Hmm… maybe to commemorate whenever this is complete some sort of streaming thing could be arranged.
Probably not, though, right? Eh.
Would mods be okay with streaming the Saga on Discord?
I think we need to clearly establish healing fatal wounds as something only a dyad can do to each other. That will stop the audience from asking why no ever used that power whenever someone died. It’s only possible in those rare circumstances.
Force healing as a whole, though, gels quite well with the rest of the Saga. Perhaps Sidious healed Vader after finding him on Mustafarian shores. It even solves two plot holes with one stone in ANH, one of which I didn’t even realize was there. Why didn’t the Tusken Raiders kill Luke? Why did Obi-Wan sacrifice himself? Well the Tuskens did kill him, and Obi-Wan brought him back to life by sacrificing himself, though through his training he was able to maintain his physical form long enough to face Vader. But I’m getting off-topic here.
The more think about it, the more Rey killing her parents makes sense. I guess I’ll go with it.
My problem with Rey killing her parents is it goes against the idea that she could ever convince herself they’re coming back.
Oh it does. Nice work, you god among editors.
The fact that he’s stapled to GLaDOS implies he was more or less fatally wounded by Vader’s sacrifice, but I suppose informing the viewer that the machine has only slowed the process rather than completely halting it could be nice. Then again, that implies that Palpatine’s gonna die regardless if the heroes kill him or not. Sure, the threat of his fleet is more important to the Galaxy, but to the viewer, I think stopping Palpatine himself should feel like the most important thing. He is the main villain of the Saga, after all.
I’m sure that was everyone’s first thought, but obviously it wouldn’t match in the slightest. I’m guessing Ceaser from Planet of the Apes is probably the same situation, but I’ve only seen the first of the ones he’s in, and he barely talks in it, so if someone could back me up on this, that’d be nice.
To me, dubbing any character and giving them subtitles is too big a deviation from canon. That’s why I don’t like a lot of TPM edits. You have to have Mesa Jar Jar Binks and Japanese Neimoidians or it just doesn’t feel like I’m watching SW. The same goes for Snoke.
That said, are there any other Andy Serkis roles we can pull from for Snoke’s lines?
Fuck it, go full shonen on this battle.
Here’s my rough first attempt at integrating Duel of the Fates, as has been talked about.

I remember snagging “I believe they call themselves Ewoks” from the radio dramas, allowing the Ewoks to be named onscreen. The fact that he’s voiced him in pretty much every instance the character’s been voiced and the fact that his mouth doesn’t move makes 3PO a godsend for faneditors.
