There’s no confirmed voice cast for LEGO Skywalker Saga, but after Battlefront 2 used the TCW cast, it’d strike me as odd if this game didn’t. The Holiday Special used Matt Lanter

The difference is that was an original project. The Skywalker Saga is specifically based on movies where Anakin was played by someone who unambiguously isn’t Lanter and sounds nothing like him. I’m not saying it won’t be Lanter, I’m just saying it’s far from being a given.

Omega’s hair color was a recessive allele found in Jango Fett’s family (in Legends, both his mother and sister were blonde)

Mandos are usually blonde so that makes sense.

All those relationships you’re suggesting have very strange age gaps, TestingOutTheTest.

Jocasta Nu saved Grogu during the attack on the Jedi Temple.

I can definitely get behind that.

<strong>Rangers Of The New Republic</strong> (live action series) - general discussion thread (<strong>Cancelled</strong>)
Time

It’s not officially cancelled yet, and will maybe still continue, but to me this implies that Rangers was going to heavily feature Cara Dune and that’s now been quietly thrown out of the window. It’s a shame if it really is cancelled - I was hoping the series could replace Cara (if it was ever going to feature her) with a character like Hera Syndulla.

I think it was pretty petty to fire Carano in the first place. This is why I hate Twitter.

-The biggest flaw of the PT is not the acting, the dialogue, the CGI, the writing, or the overall story. It’s the small inconsistencies with the OT that accumulates throughout the movies.

Imo, retcons should be encouraged when they make for a better scene. I’d much rather cut the lines about Leia’s mother in RotJ than have Padme awkwardly survive RotS. I’d rather change the line about Obi-Wan’s teacher in ESB than erase Qui-Gon from TPM. The priority to me is that final product is cohesive, and if that means going back to change older bits to match I’m all for it.

Oh and midi-chlorians are great.

Replace every scene available with Galaxy of Adventures. Those that haven’t been animated remain live-action.

A friend of mine made a ROTS edit that added in all available content that takes place around and during it, including the seige of Coruscant from the Tartakovsky Clone Wars. After a few minutes I didn’t even think about the footage and animation mismatch; it was weird in how not weird it was.

I could see Doctor Who reconstructions using such an approach at some point.

The link SandMTV posted links to a video with a 15 character ID (f2ynu4megZFmo8U), but every YouTube video has an 11 character ID. Conclusion: Sand is from a distant future where they ran out of YouTube IDs and had to add four more digits.

I’m sensing a pattern here

His wall of text last month on this thread isn’t helping his case.

Doctor Who has had the opportunity to blend animation and live action for the First and Second Doctor stuff. They did so for the early ones but now are just fully animating the full stories even if live action episodes exist.

To secure funding they need something networks are willing to broadcast, and animations that switch to 60s B&W live-action every other shot isn’t marketable to a broad audience. That’s also why they animate them in color now.

Last Video Game Played
Time

Wow, playing all of a series back to back in numerical order like that has to be something special. I know I try to start series at the start. In 2019 I played three urban RPGs that were the first of their series. In order, I played Pokemon Ultra Violet (Basically Fire Red / Leaf Green), Earthbound Beginnings, and Persona 1. I had never played any of them but greatly enjoyed all of them. It’s been a while since then. The following year I played Pokemon Heart Gold / Soul Silver and Persona 2: Innocent Sin as follow-ups, and haven’t touched either series since, but plan to do so next year. Needed a bit of a break. Or at least I thought I did.

Other games I’ve played in recent years are Celeste (while on trip to France), Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Plants vs. Zombies, which I all enjoyed. I still need to play Jet Set Radio.
