If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place

Idk, buying digital media feels like a half-assed middle ground. After all, you only really own it so long as the store you bought it from is still online. A disc won’t disappear when the label goes out of business. I prefer the limitless options of digital. I could never afford to buy all my ever-changing music collection, but online I can have it for free or on the go for a small subscription fee. I feel like it’s a better deal.

Unreliable IMDb aside, Wookieepedia, which is properly sourced, only lists five VAs so far. They are:

  • Tom Kane as Qui-Gon Jinn and Yoda

  • Daniel Logan as Boba Fett (presumably the young version)

  • Stephen Stanton as Obi-Wan Kenobi (presumably old Ben, since that’s the version he voiced in Rebels)

  • Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian

  • Sam Witwer as Darth Sidious

I think it’s safe to assume Anthony Daniels, James Arnold Taylor, Matthew Wood, and Dee Bradley Baker will be there too. I suspect we’ll get a few returning actors straight from the film but they probably won’t be the majority. For example, IMDb claims Naomie Ackie is returning as Jannah, which sounds perfectly plausible. Mark Hamill is a voice actor first and foremost, so I could easily see him voicing not just Luke but a bunch of other characters too.

The Final Order - A no Leia/Rey Nobody TROS edit by Spence (Completed)

Rey cannot, at every turn, be assisted by other Star Wars characters. She defeats Kylo because Leia intervened. She defeats Palpatine because the spirits of the past Jedi intervened. She’s the hero. She needs to do it herself.

I find this absolutely hilarious given how one of the most common complaints haters never shut up about is Rey being too competent.

Qui-Gon says Anakin can see things before they happen but we never really see him do that in this film (the prophetic dreams from its sequels I suppose count). Why not show him seeing the future during the podrace by cutting footage from a few seconds later with a visual filter and have him react by maneuver around the impending danger he foresaw. Surely there must be enough footage for that to be doable.

Breaking their will through punishment, both mental and physical would IMO be a far more effective measure.

That strikes me as cruel and inhumane. The whole point of execution is that it’s painless. It’s not about punishing them, it’s about ridding us of having to deal with them. We shouldn’t torture criminals for their acts.

And the contrast gets heightened when you see how poor they are compared to Rogue One and Solo

I disagree with the idea that they’re worse. I personally find them more interesting and entertaining. The spinoffs feel painfully average.

I do agree that Lucas always planned to do some sort of Prequel Trilogy. Obviously the actual details weren’t decided in 1976 or whatever, but the general concept of covering the backstory in films was in place by 1980.

There’s no other type of criminal I despise more than rapists, and I am even far more willing to believe that a murderer can be reformed than a rapist ever will.

I would list things I can conceivably come up with that are worse but no one wants to spend the afternoon debating what the worst possible act a human can commit is. One thing I will say is that if you believe someone to be beyond reform, then you should believe in executing them. That’s my take.
