Well, you do have a point. That line is of course not true. There wil NEVER be a final box set! Even after George dies, his bitch Rick McCallum will continue releasing box sets, and Jim Ward will gladly tag along. I'm sure Steve Sansweet will have his part in it as well.

To actually capture the image, you'll need a video editiing program with the film on your computer. And you'll need to follow the procedures of that program.

After you capture the image from the film, you create an account at photobucket.com or some image hosting site, and upload the image to it. And then, after you upload it there, you put a link to the image in your post here.

How do I know? Jim Ward announced that all of the Indy stuff would be released in 2007. And all of the star wars stuff is based on either what has been reported or on strong rumors. I wasn't presenting that as exactly how it would be, just a rough estimate of how greedy Lucas can be. I thought you would quite enjoy that list, since you hate him so badly. It would give you another chance to bash him.

Yeah, there's not a doubt in my mind that Lucas will HEAVILY market the show. And 2007 will be a HUGE year for him money-wise:

-3D theatrical release of ANH
-archival DVD editions
-Indiana Jones 4 in theaters
-Young Indy coming to DVD
-original Indy trilogy will no doubt be released again
-3D Clone Wars and/or live-action series will debut
-new Indy video game, as confirmed by Jim Ward
-Ungodly amount of Star Wars merchandizing

Actually, anything in the TV series will be EU, therefore on the same level as anything else EU. Only the films can override anything. It will simply be the same situation as Clone Wars Volume II was: whatever may contradict anything else will be looked at as different interpretations of events. And, they'll try to fit everything in anyway, knowing Lucas Licsensing. And there's really not much EU yet set during that era. My guess is that the series creators will follow it as they will with the 3D clone wars.

I just don't think Star Wars is too big for TV. I like the idea of exploring it in different mediums. One thing I really liked about the ewok movies was the fact that they were set in the same universe, but had nothing at all to do with the theatrical films. There's just something cool about that to me.

At least give it a chance. Attempt to enjoy it. You never know, it may actually be OK. Remember that only the first season will be written by Lucas (according to Lucas). He claims that he will "hand it off from there." Since other people, likely fans will be working on it, it may do well. Plus, it has been confirmed that the writers of the upcoming 3D Clone Wars will be going by the already made EU stories (novels, comics, games) to produce the show and Lucas will have little to do with it. In that case, I am glad. Lucas seems to have a knack for trampling all over continuity.

^Exactly. Like I said in an earlier post, my guess is that the Empire fixed it up and used it for their own purposes, which would explain why it looks OK in the movie.

Why do you hate the idea of star wars on TV? To me it will be another neat look into the SW universe, regardless of quality. It will be a chance to actually see some of the things between ROTS and ANH that sound cool, like the jedi being hunted down. I just don't see what's so funny about a star wars TV show.

I don't get it though. Why on earth would the Jedi Temple look brand new in ROTJ if it was so messed up in ROTS? I mean, why would anyone in that galaxy bother to fix it up? It makes you wonder, was it occupied by Palpatine or the e,mpire or something?

Good question. The most obvious reason would be because the DVDs where that was inserted came out after the stories with Luke rebuilding the jedi order were written.

But as far as an in-universe explanation, I have no clue. Maybe he didn't want to associate the new jedi order with the old.
