I mean things like the Luke/Leia birth scene, which can be re-editied to reallign continuity with ROTJ. Also, the line in ROTJ where Luke says "I have no memory of my mother" will have to be cut.

Well, he fixed the original trilogy for the 1997 and 2004 releases, I'm sure he can fix the prequel trilogy as well for the 2007 release.

I must differ on that one. The entire book is a commentary on nearly every social system and points out the faults in them. The conditioning aspect stays true in our world today.

OK, cool. I do reallize that for some people the marriage and kids part of life may be enjoyable. But, being reallistic, it's really quite a turbulent, hectic time that few are ever ready to fully deal with. And, kmany times, it is kids who disrupt marriages in the first place. In oprder to enjoy kids, you would have to be VERY prepared and VERY comfortable in a marriage, I believe.

Why does everyone seem to think that a film has to be on par with others in order to be considered enjoyable. Myself, I try to enjoy something for what IT is, rather than trying to compare it with the series it is part of.

By that you are implying that your life can no longer be enjoyed once you have a kid. While from your mother's point of view that may well be true, I'm sure some members here will tell you otherwise.

I'm implying that you should be single as long as possible from my point of view so that you can enjoy your OWN life, without having to put up with a marriage which these days, the odds are against you, and it probably won't last and you have to put up with a typically ungrateful son or daughter for at least 18 years. It's a living hell in my opinion. Have you ever read how Brave New World describes a typical family? Well, it basically reduces each member of a family to merely the propblems and pain they cause each other.

Actually, the most appear to prefer ESB, so they can't be too far off. Plus, they seem to really dislike TPM and AOTC. So they do fit the "OOT purist" point of view... almost.
