I have grown up with the PT. It represents some of the fondest parts of my childhood. It inspired me, especially TPM. It was part of my life I'll never forget. It's similar to you guys with the OT, I suppose. Generally, I have fond memories associated with everything to do with the PT.

Ah, someone posted that a while back. Yes, I've seen it. They basically re-did the opening using similar techniques as they did in the 70s, but still managed to make a cooler opening.

Who says it's a force connection? Since when does a jedi (or trainee jedi) require a connection with a certain person in order to communicate with them through the force? Siblings or not, Luke and Leia are close. Who else was he gonna reach out to on the falcon to save him? Threepio? Nope. Lando who he's never even met? Nope. Chewie? He called to Obi-Wan, who would not help him. So he called out to Leia. If Leia didn't hear him, then he was screwed.

I agree Adam, cause there is an answer to every possible plot hole. The out to that Luke/Leia kiss to everyone was they didn't know they were siblings, and that always worked for me. But again, do you really think Lucas would have played that up from what was a possible love triangle for Luke/Leia/Han in the first movie if he had them as siblings in mind? It he did, he is a real sick bastard!

Well, the idea there was supposed to be that, according to Lucas, they always had feelings for each other, but they couldn't quite place them correctly. I can accept this.

I listened to the first few mintues of the ROTS DVD commentary and had to stop it at minute 4 because I was so sick of him verbally blow jobbing Lucas and his "creative vision for this movie." I haven't gone back to that damn DVD since.

You should have listened around the end. Around the Mustafar part, McCallum, goes off on a tangent about "My God, he sees things." And it cracks you up, because it sounds so obvious that he is an ass-kisser/dick-sucker and praises Lucas for everything he does. McCallum goes on and on throughout the entire commentary (nearly every time he starts talking) about the grand vision of Lucas and how incredible he is as a person (no joke) and as a storyteller. Then - get this, he praises Hayden as "a very gifted actor." No shit.

They removed a lot of content on Star Wars: Galaxies that most of the players thought was the best part of the game. They limited player abilities and basically took away all of the fun to the game. Now Lucasarts is losing a lot of money and customers because of that stupid move they made on Galaxies. What was strange was that Lucasarts called these changes "improvements." That's really pissed people off as well.
