Actually, most fans don't feel that way, from what I've read. ANH isn't even supposed to be about "Anakin's struggle." No, Anakin is dead. It's supposed to be about Vader's position in the empire and is supposed to show him being controlled by higher up members of the empire. He is supposed to be portrayed as heartless and tyranical.
