While I agree with AWK's general statement, that still doesn't mean LFL doesn't have a copy of this transferred to film. Of course, even if this were so, the possibility of someone successfully navigating through Skywalker Ranch to the vault and getting their hands on this film is approximately three thousand, seven hundred and twenty to one.

(And I would honestly have to say to that person: Why did you pick this turkey, when the unmolested OT was probably right next to it! )

what an idiot if i broke in I would go for the OOT prints them the HS if i didn't get cought by then. O wait i would take everything that was filmed between 1776-1983 so i could have deleted scenes. lol

That means you would have the holiday special somewhere among it all.

Inserting deleted scene of Yoda's exile into ANH??

I just wish they were filmed in order so everyone can finally shut up. It would have been funny if they were filmed completly out of order. Like Clone Wars, 6, 2, 5, 1, 4, 3. Then people would probably say they were meant to be watched im this order. I know I saw the orginal in '77 when I was a baby, but I was too young to remember that.

Amen, brotha!

So? That's the only way my girlfriend ever saw them, and the way I will always recommend to watch them. It was a totally different experience for her. She knew that Darth was Luke and Leia's dad and that L&L were brother and sister. She kept asking me, "So when is Luke gonna find out that's his dad?" or when will they find out they are brother and sister? I told her to just wait and see. So there can still be surprises. YOU know, but you don't know when the characters will know. I think it's a really cool experience to watch 1-2-clone wars-3-4-5-6 in that order. All of the movies are AWESOME in every way.

That's my opinion as well.

Hey, hey, all we need are some low-budget 1960s special effects, like a sound effects record, and a projector with an image of yourself acting spooky, and five crazy kids and a dog to buy into the illusion, and then Adam will never be the wiser!

Too late!

Are the firefly DVDs missing something?

On TV versions of all the episodes, before the teaser starts, there is a montage of the series, with Mal giving a voiceover explaining the 'verse.

This was added at the behest of Fox, and NOT how Joss wanted the episodes to be seen. Hence, it was removed for the DVD, so you can see the episodes how they were meant to be seen.

In that case, I can sleep easy.

Well... you do have a point.

Anyway, does anyone know for sure if this thing is even a possibility? I mean, I know before VCR's were mainstream most people had little projectors set up in their basements to watch home movies and so forth. Could an official "watch at home" version have been sanctioned and released by Lucasfilm and/or CBS in the big marketing frenzy that encompassed all that was Star Wars? It would be a good question to ask Steve Sansweet. If there ever was one, it's a good bet he has a copy.

No way. Lucasfilm would have NEVER released a home video version of this.
