Um... no. You cannot make such a statement when it's impossible to honestly know what people do and don't understand.

I like the changes, and I most definately "get" the purposes of the films.

But Lucas will not be in full control of the TV show. Sure he will oversee it, but it will be like the Clone Wars series, where FANS write the stories and scripts for the most part. Never fear, there is hope.

Think about it! I bet there is at least ONE person in the world that thinks like this. And with the quality of the DVD releases I can actually believe that they were filmed post-2005. As it should seem.

Not gonna happen. Marketing is EVERYWHERE these days. Lucas has made sure (every time a new PT film was released) that he sells as many copies of the OT as possible.
