He cant go back officialy on TF.n hes banned under many names, now i dont want to get involved but you are a troll Adam you have trolled or flamed on the Official Site, T.Fn and what about the way you advertised this site on the Official Site... I have read what stuff have posted on all,

(and Adam if you accuse me of lying, I will start to post links or something)

I am not banned from TF.N. I currently post there. And I certainly am not a troll. Now, I'm not accusing you of lying, I'm saying that I don't troll now. And I don't troll at the OS either. I don't even post there often. The only section of TF.N I even pay attention to is the "Small Screen Star Wars" section.

You need to read my lips, Adam...

Now you're just ripping off old Daddy Bush's catch phrase!

kev, prefering the directors cut is NOT blasphemy. In fact, it's the other way around.

I wouldn't have as big a problem with this statement if you didn't say "In fact." If someone prefers the directors cut, great. If someone prefers the theatrical cut, great. Don't tell me what is blasphemy. If it's your opinion that it's blasphemy, fine. Say so. But don't call it fact. That's blasphemy.

I changed my post to read "in my opinion" instead. Sorry.

Who knows most about Star Wars??

I don't believe I'm the MOST knowledgeable, but I think its fair to say I know an above-average amount.

I've (obviously) seen all the movies. I've also got Troops, both Ewok movies and some other things on DVD (Star Wars to Jedi, Star Wars to Star Wars, Nova: The Magic of Special Effects, George Lucas in Love, etc.).

I've read 27 of the novels (all are pre-NJO). I own a bunch as well. Bless the creators of Half-Price Books.

I own a bunch of the "Essential Guides."

I love Curtis Saxton's Star Wars Technical Commentaries.

Cool. It looks similar to my collection.

Yes. Yes kev, I do. The original was NOT what the director wanted. And in this situation, Ridley Scott is NOT Lucas. In this case, the studio took the film from Scott and edited it the way THEY wanted, rather than how he, the artist wanted it. They tried to dumb down the movie by giving it a happy ending, and remove scenes that make the audience think. They removed a scene that hinted that Deckard may be a replicant (aka "The Unicorn Scene"). kev, prefering the directors cut is NOT blasphemy. In my opinion, it's the other way around.

Lucas is a great storyteller, but I think since and partially during ROTJ he's lost touch with alot of essential qualities, which made his other films so classic.

Are you not comparing the PT with the OT there?

I think we're all reading too much into one little line of dialog!

That may be the case. Maybe there's something obvious that we're all missing.

Yeah, that Luke can't remember his mother and Leia can!

That's it.

End of!

Yeah, that actually is a good way of explaining it.

I'd like to see them retcon the Droids series now!

They already have! The New Essential Guide to Characters explains that the Droids were lost from the Tantive IV for a few years, until Captain Antilles was able to locate them again. No joke.

Wookies vs Ewoks in ROTJ.

Yes, the holiday special (which I have sadly never seen, btw) showed them in their home surrounded by computers, etc, but seeing as Lucas has basically eradicated that from Star Wars history, I think it would have been ok to show the Wookies as primitive in ROTJ (and would have made a better movie).

Actually, Lucasfilm considers the holiday special official canon.

Honestly, I wasn't sure because of how she looks in the post, though.

Right. I consider those pics of her in that post a loophole to the standards of this thread, since she looks, um, well, close to a child there.

Nope, she was at her finest in Splash.

You can say that again.

Cool. But I still say she was hotter than ever in BR, with the wild looking hair and makeup, and the tight outfit she wore near the end..
