His lies. The fact that he turned his back on the victims and families of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, in order to attack a country that had nothing to do with terrorism until he attacked. Then of course, is terrorism on Iraq, which was the result of him invading a country that had never attacked the US. The fact that he has kept the US troops in Iraq way too long for such a cause that he himself has changed and lied about his motives in. This in turn has caused the deaths of many, who were lead to believe that they were dying to defend their country, which in fact was never the case with the troops in Iraq. Now, of course, he has caused many families, both American and Iraqi to lose loved ones, all in the name of his "war," which HE started in the case of Iraq. If he would have truly focesed on tracking down the REAL terrorists, (aka, the ones behing the ACTUAL terrorism on the US), I would have a profound respect for the man, even if he would have failed. You know why? Becuase he would have been doing it for the victims, for the families, and not for himself, as in his own personal war with Iraq. Then, he would truly have been a man of God in my opinion. But, now, instead, Bush has proven himself to be nothing more than a low-life son of a bitch.

It's just that I didn't go in expecting it to be groundbreaking. Few things are. All I ask from a film is that it inspires me and leaves me with something to think about. That, ROTS was able to accomplish. The opening shot had the job of introducing you (clone wars series aside) to what the hell is going on "since we last left our heroes in AOTC." That, IMHO, it does perfectly. I didn't expect it to be innovative, just entertaining.

That opening shot gives me chils. Let me describe the scene and try to tell you what I see in the opening shot that, IMHO, makes it the classic:

Following the opening crawl, the camera pans down to a blinding Coruscanti sun, on down to an enormous Republic ship/Star Destroyer going slowly by the camera. Bass drums beat at a constant rythym set the dark tone immediately. In the background of the bass drums, you can hear a faint bell ringing. Suddenly, two jedi starfighters, side by side, following each other's every move, fly across camera, over the ship, and around it, revealing a sea of ships engaged in an obviously epic battle over Coruscant. DAMN.

That shot immediately shows me that things are serious now. It gives the impression that Obi-Wan and Anakin now have a much closer bond, that they trust and follow one-another, helping each other out when in need. Yeah. It's symbolism of their brotherhood. The music has a dark feeling of ultimate fate to it. To me, this is no typical sci-fi battle. It has emotion, and, as I said, it has the symbolism of darkness and brotherhood. Yeah.

*Sigh* Vader's was also in character in ROTS. He had just lost his wife, and was lead to beluieve he killed her. I would be screaming no if I were in that situation.
