I actually think that, with her quirkyness, she might do an OK job. I like the idea that they are getting a woman to play God. That might open some people's eyes. However, the original film was very inspiring, and I'm afraid that this 2006 version will be just another crappy remake by the studios.

I just saw on a local magazine the before and after photos of that woman... And I got SO pissed because there are kids reading that freaking magazine, why do they do that?! They sometimes put pictures of dead corpses from wars or something, and disfigured people, I hate when they do that. The AFTER photo was VERY surprising, she looks very good. There is an obvious scar, but the whole thing looks pretty good.

They do that, I believe, because they want to show reality, not a shielded version of it.

Well, I suppose Lucas must have been happy with that scene or something. Plus, in that scene, there was really no need for Hayden, as he was supposed to look deformed anyway there, and if they really wanted to make him look different there, I suppose they could use CG.

I suppose they would, since they still did their share of acting in the film originally. And Lucas isn't known to be greedy with people. Money hungry maybe, but not necessarily greedy.

Well guys, I have just learned that the studios are doing a remake of "Oh God" from 1977. It will supposedly be released in 2006. Now, when I read this, I immediately headed over to the IMDb mad about such an insane idea. But... guess who they're getting to play God?

At least Ewan's hair seemed fine to me. But you can't say much for the OT either. Obi-Wan's hair is usually messed up in it, and Luke's looks similar to Anakin's.
