Things are not quite what they seem. The number of delegates is dependent on the "winner take all" vs. the "apportioned delegates" which varies from state to state. Screw what the pundits, OP-ED pieces and polls say. Two of the most important bookmarks you can make right now are:

Democratic scorecard
Republican scorecard

Interesting that Romney is in the lead, with three times what McCain boasts and almost twice what Huckabee boasts. People say that the demise of the electoral college would equal the demise of campaigning in the small states, but I assert that this has already happened anyway, with Giuliani's "Big State" strategy. You don't hear about those small states on the news, or that Romney currently holds the lead by a comfortable margin. What you hear is that he's a two-time loser. Bollocks.

I wish they'd just make The Silmarillion and The Hobbit and be done with it.

I do think they did a good job translating the books to film. Film and print are very different animals, and yes, they took some liberties, but the only really "wrong" thing IMO was when the Elves showed up at Helms' Deep. Well, that and how much screen time was devoted to Helms' Deep.

But on the whole I think LOTR was very faithful to the source material, especially when until that point, adaptations reflected virtually none of the source material (Clancy novels being the worst-case offenders).

FOTR, Harry Potter and Spider-Man was a trifecta spread over six months time that got Hollywood back to respecting the source. For that I remain grateful.

I'm in that camp who has put off purchasing in ANY format until the war is settled. The obvious exception being titles that I edit like HP5. I can rent just fine until the war is over. Until then, I'm a 4:3, 480i man.

It's not a Hoax. Anybody who knows anything knows that James Bond went into space in You Only Live Twice which came before this. Or am I think of Austin Powers? Anyway, this proves only one thing ... that the government has been lying to us that you need a protective suit when walking on the moon. Clearly there is breathable air on the moon and comfortable temperatures.
