When one of Hubbard's wives complained of having to get on her knees to clean the floor, Hubbard replied, "Get yourself a nigger-that's what they're made for."
This is the religion of Isaac Hayes and possibly The Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith. Oh, sweet irony!!!
I inserted some deleted scenes, yes, but I also took out a ton of garbage when it comes to the prequels. And with Ep III, I did extensive audio work just to get those Battle Droids to stop sounding like sissies. I did a separate round of extended editions for the prequels, but the "ADM Edits" are very much fan edits designed to remove a lot of junk and put in things that never should have been removed. In my own opinion, of course. ;-)
Rapidshare does have a free option. One just needs to be patient with the process. It makes great sense to bookmark or even set the page with all the RS links as a home page during the time you're getting all the parts. It may take a long time, but it is indeed free, and that's a comfort to many students especially.

So here I was linkifying and rar couldn't flac for sake of the mp3. I'm staring at purples which were supposed to be blues but the 404 is clogging my monitor. All I'm trying to do is to get the cuts so I can hear the alt. clippings. To top it all off, my config is full of 2.1 and I'm staticking out the little ones so the upgrade may be necessary.
Well, somebody needs to get this and let me know if the deleted scenes are an improvement over the Criterion version. I shelled out enough for that one, so I want to be sure it's worth the upgrade.
And again this makes me angry about the format war. If there weren't a format war I'd be on HD and the upgrade would be a no-brainer.
"On the Conveyor Belt" is the actual cue and not the tracked mess from the film, right? Ben Burtt should be shot for what he did to this film. The ONLY good musical decision he made was to keep the music out of the asteroid scene until it comes in, which I do understand he and Williams had to compromise on.
I thought the Immaculate Edition was little more than a port of the Criterion Collection, off which mine was based. I don't think the scenes are around in great quality from what I know. They found it on a video master, which is why it was so crappy. PAL tape of film, re-telecined to NTSC. It was VERY ugly indeed.
But fun.
But if those scenes ARE available in DVD or HD quality I'd love to take a stab if they don't do it themselves.
When you think about what the words mean ... it's a pretty powerful title given where we left off. Very appropriate for this film, or what we know of it.
Nanner, can you upload the secret docs to something other than Z-share. All I get are ads that obscure any download process whenever I go to that site.
I posted this over at the Superman forum too. It's worth cross-posting to here.
Regarding Westboro Baptist Church zealots, I can think of several things to say, not the least of which is that they do not represent my understanding of Christianity. Not in the least. Something about "You who are without sin may cast the first stone." But I also think the words of David Wilcox are extremely poignant when I think of their guerrilla salvation:
