Thanks BMB,
First don't worry for the guy, he wouldn't have taken care to remove its avatar 12 hours after if he was really ready to left his life behind.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I don't understand why do you think it's not useful to give one when it is the main purpose of this thread, or of any thread. Besides, without them I would feel a bit - or completely - like being said "release your stuff and shut the f**k up"... Notably when I notice the thread has been viewed about 1000 or 2000 times since I posted samples...
Ok, so here's reported my last post before we went to discuss off topic, perhaps it'll make things clearer...
... Sorry for the "specialized" discussions. It's not that much the purpose of the thread, though it may be helpful to deal with a few remaining details.
If anyone want to share their point about the few samples and the work as presented here (or even on the ones presented before), they're more than welcome whatever it is positive or not.
Besides I'm begining to wonder a lot on how much this work and its value are beeing seen here on OT.com, and if it really "contributes" to the preservation of these Master-Pieces, or to the quality of their restitution. What I'm sure about, is that no feedbacks contribute not to preserve it at all. But if this thread doesn't work it's no problem.
Perhaps such a restoration and remastering as presented here, by someone who developped its abilities as an aside with great simplicity of ways and approach looks more like spreading what Moth3r calls... the "Fuckwit factor"?! That would suck, for sure.
A mess, having myself no doubt anymore on the solidity of the resulting piece and imagining that if such a thread would be seen by LFL for instance - as they surely don't ignore OT.com -, from a "marketing" point of view it makes obvious one thing: bringing the OT scores to a superior level of rendition is finally of very, very little interest.
Well this is my last post for a time anyway. I felt it was of a great interest to present the project here, and it finally helped me to present it in a more professional way - thinking about the liner notes, the technical language etc... (as I can see there are big is lacks in my intro posts).
I will change the OP in a few days to sum up in a better way is intented in this virtual edition, and will give a more convenient synthetic vision of the remixing details (post 2). I'll advert the change in the thread title...
Now, don't force yourseves, just if you like both the project and ist sound, please speak your hearts. ;)
See ya'
