"BUT ANAMORPHIC ENHANCEMENT ALTERS THE MOVIES!!!"
Time
Even if I gave you my sources name that won't help you. I have given you all the information I have. The prototypes for the 2004 DVD boxes are being considered for the 30th Anniversary. The SE are going to get their FINAL definitive changes and the OOT is being restored and will be anamorphic as part of the sets. Beyond that I can provide a few more tiny specifics. I don't really have anything else right now that would satisfy you for proof. I have said before that I will give you more info as it comes to me. If you don't want me to post anything else about the DVDs I won't. I guess being excited as a Star Wars fan and wanting to share with originaltrilogy.com isn't enough

Is there an echo in here? We have heard all this before.

I'm glad you found a way to enjoy them. I found three significant reasons I cannot particularly enjoy them:

1) Greedo Shoots
2) "Alert my Star Destroyer to alert the Death Star to alert the Emperor to alert Admiral Piett..."
3) Mannequin Skywalker standing together with a Yoda puppet and Alec Guiness

No matter how much I play with the color, those scenes are still there.

4) Boba fett's new voice
5) "Jedi Rocks"
6) Jabba looks terrible in ANH

...anymore anyone...?
