He hasn’t the social skills to do anything other than act superior while unknowingly giving away the fact that he’s some one to feel sorry for. Like mfm said, it’s a common phase that kids go through.

I’ll admit that when I was 15 or 16 I had a horrible superiority complex before I realized that the reason no one liked me was because I was a total dick who thought he knew every thing. I’m glad I got over it early. One of my best friends today is someone who couldn’t stand me during my first two years of high school but liked me after I grew up a little. Hopefully imperialscum can do the same.

Embarrassingly, It was 18 and 19 for me. Luckily I had no internet forums to show my stupid ass on. And I had some friends who woke me up to the facts.
I was never as snooty and rude as ImpsCum though. He ratchets that shit up to very sad levels.

I’ve always pictured impscum as a character act. Like when Frink had his Ric Olie sock, only it’s the one account he has. He acts the way he does on here to play that character, which gathers him attention. He probably throws in his actual opinions, but most likely blows it up to 100 and makes his ego bigger in the process.

Or he could just be like you guys say, I don’t really know.

I think this is why imperialscum seems so obnoxious on here. In person he’s probably just a typical brat who thinks he knows everything, but it’s so easy to amp it up on the internet to the point where he includes things that even he wouldn’t say in person. I think the internet might be the cause of the absurdity of his idiocy. I don’t doubt that he is as arrogant as he comes across online, but in person I doubt that he acts quite so ridiculous.

It seems pretty rare that people actually do converse with him. He’s incredibly boring. I always had him on ignore back when we had that feature.

I found this describes him well.

Ray_afraid and moviefreakedmind, thank you for sharing your experience, however I cannot relate to it. As you said, you just thought you were smart (despite evidence of contrary) and then eventually realised you are not. On the other hand, I was always a scientist and questioned everything rigorously. When I was a kid I was reluctant to just conclude I am smart, despite various clear evidence supporting that. But after 30 years of various clear evidence I just eventually had to conclude the obvious.

My my main point was that everything is specific to an individual specimen and you cannot just generalise with terms “over-weight” and “unhealthy” to the entire population. And I most certainly did not claim that some who has diabetes is healthy (as that is a disease in the first place).
