Yeah, but the upside is that I’m much more comfortable with After Effects due to this scene.

With my new knowledge, I think I can do a better job on shot 1 so I’ll take another stab at that later and then render the whole thing. 😃

Indeed! I’ve gone back and worked on shot 1 a bit more. I wasn’t able to completely smooth out the trooper movement, but it’s at least a little better.

Anyway, I’ve gone ahead and rendered it in ProRes format so anyone who wants the scene, let me know via PM 😃

Fantastic news NeverarGreat! Crazy how after so many years of these deleted scenes being available, the technology has finally allowed for the removal of those pesky timecodes. Certainly something I wouldn’t have ever imagined would happen! 😮

I can’t remember exactly where it is in hals restructured TFA, but will this version keep the added palpatine laugh that (I think?) Was added to the sequence where rey has a vision from Lukes lightsaber?

I really liked that addition.

Yeah I believe it is, I remember being surprised by it. I can find the timestamp of it later today potentially.

It’s a neat concept, but yeah, I’d stick with something more subtle.
