*sigh* I'm so sick of Abramstrek, and I haven't even seen the shitty abominations.

I would have gone and seen "Into Darkness", but Khan's casting was so bizarre as to dissuade me.
I didn't figure he was Khan, and was honestly a little disappointed when it turned out he was.
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.
I would agree with that. I had no problem with the film, but that wasn't a story (to me) that needed to be revisited. Plenty to do outside of that. Plus I don't find Khan to be terribly interesting - original film or character.
It could have worked - if Khan's second in command was revived instead of Khan. He looks a lot like Cumberbatch!
JEDIT: Now I'm retconning STID to actually star this guy, who only pretends to be Khan after the suits at Starfleet unfreeze the wrong guy. He plays along because he wishes to avoid being put back into hibernation, and soon comes to enjoy impersonating his hero so much that he begins to think that he is indeed Khan.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)

Wow. I never made that connection. SWEET!

I could see Benedict as a James Bond Villian. Tell me if there is an off topic Bond forum so I can explain more.
What’s worse George Lucas changing the OT or selling the rights to Disney

This is actually what I wished had happened too.

So, allegedly KK asked to delay the release until 2016 but was denied.
I hope this isn't the case, but this is exactly what I was afraid of when Disney purchased LFL. The last thing we need is for Iger to rush the movie into production when the script isn't even finished.

Ken Kraly is making the film now?
At least the colars will be perfect.

True, but one could say that a little pressure sometimes makes wonder. I mean: without any sexual double meaning... okay, Frink? ;)

I'm sure Abrams and Kennedy are feeling plenty of pressure as it is. I just want them to have plenty of time get the script right.

Apparently JJ is siding with Iger.

Well maybe, but we really don't know what is going on, if anything. This is all rumors and speculation at this point. This article could be completely false.
I just didn't like the thought of them having to rush the script in order to meet a deadline.

I am hoping it is not a space revenge movie like the last 2 star trek's with a cgi millennium falcon that is all shiny and lens flares.
Maybe make the Falcon cockpit also look like the apple store.

They must be shitty, so no need to see them!
There's no need to watch something when online reviews and comments give me all the details I need to know to make an analysis.
J.J. Abrams Responds to 4 Rules to Make STAR WARS Great Again Video
"I would say that [the video conveys] a feeling that we share very much. I loved how Star Wars had that sense of a world far beyond the borders of what you can see and have been told. It's one of the things it did so brilliantly. If you watch the first movie, you don't actually know exactly what the Empire is trying to do. They're going to rule by fear - but you don't know what their end game is. The beauty of that movie was that it was an unfamiliar world, and yet you wanted to see it expand and to see where it went."
For some reason I'm having issues with this page, it will only load to about halfway down the page, and I can't see the new posts. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
So, what do you guys think about this?

I don't like the character names, but that's really no big deal. But the Bobba Fett guy with an arm that can morph into a blade or a gun? That's really stupid.
It's probably a hoax anyway but it's interesting.

FFS no!!
I don't want EpVII to be like the f*ckin' Matrix sequels where you had to buy the animated DVD and a videogame or you wouldn't even have a clue what was going on (Not that you would anyway).
While I'm on the subject, who gve the tiniest sh*t when agent Coulson died in the otherwise excellent Avengers film? Only the people who had watched every other Marvel movie, every post credits scene and a load of DVD extras, that's who.
I shouldn't have to buy a DVD, comic, tie-in book or webisode to understand the new Star Wars film. As somebody once almost said "Painfully bad money making ephemera is temporary... film is forever".
