I was looking forward to this movie based on the fact that it was an introspective sci fi movie starring Mark Strong (which makes it sound like a spiritual prequel to Sunshine, one of my favorite movies) but knowing that it also uses practical effects to such an extent brings that to a new level.

I’m a very visual person, so I pretty much exclusively rely on people’s avatar to identify users. I almost never read the user name title. So, it was a big deal for me when Frink changed his avatar from Ric Olie to the computer avatar. It felt like a different person. I also feel this every time Duracell changes his avatar.
