Wait a tic - are you guys talking about Behind The Magic or Making Magic, because there's a difference. I want whichever would be a DVD transfer of the CD-ROM containing Biggs footage. I think that's Behind The Magic. I only see Making Magic on myspleen. Is it a combo of both?

The Making Magic thing on myspleen is just the Magic Magic CD-Rom put onto a dvd with menu. I'm struggling to get to 100% on myspleen.

That trailer is great JD. The music you've used is my favourite in the whole saga as well. Cannot wait for this to be finished and yes I will be bugging you every week to hurry up and get it released

Yes, BEHIND the Magic is not on Myspleen, on MAKING Magic. Unfortunate too since Making Magic is waste of time and Behind the Magic was a fabulous disk. Someone should archive it ASAP.

Apologies if I caused a bit of confusion back there, to confirm:

Making Magic is indeed the FanFiltration preservation of the CD-ROM of the same name.

No Biggs footage though some (limited) Jedi footage - this is what's on MySpleen.

Behind the Magic - I don't have. Sorry about that !

the only thing that is kinda neat is you see the original video meetings between Lucas and ILM for the SE effects. But really--its the SE effects so big deal. Making Magic is ONLY about the special edition, and its more of a marketing thing, theres really no new information, and most of it is just a list of changes to the SE, which are readily available on the net.

Yes, Making Magic (as opposed to Behind The Magic) doesn't have a whole lot on it, and it's mostly Special Edition material.

However, one thing that Making Magic *does* have that's worth something is some extended widescreen chunks of the original Declan Mulholland Jabba scenes from SW, pre-digital (although unfortunately in horrible quality), that don't appear anywhere else. Garrett (ocpmovie) used some of this in his original Jabba scene reconstruction.

Speaking of whom, I'm waiting for Return Of The Garrett, hopefully soon.

I myself, as well as many others have put it to fanfiltration to make Behind the magic his next project, which he IS thinking of doing, given time to do so.

Jambe, theres something wrong with my quicktime at the moment, its playing the audio stream but not the video (theres some error message with the server that pops up?????). Still, the teaser still 'sounds' really great man.

Ahh. Me bad. Missed the new quicktime codec with the video. Plays a treat now. That makes me feel.....well, nostalgic, all over again. Stroll on September/October.

Sorry. It's my fault for the confusion. I was the one who posted saying Fanfiltration had done Behind the Magic on DVD. Oops. He actually converted Making Magic to DVD. Having said that however, maybe he'll do Behind the Magic eventually.

As a sidenote: Great trailer Jambe. Looking forward to this project.

Looking very good Say, when you're all done with this, do you think an NTSC conversion of this and "Building Empire" might be possible? (running at the correct speed). I've held off on these because it's a PAL only release so far, but I understand that "Building Empire" was brilliant, and I'd love to have a NTSC version for us in the States! Thanks for all of your hard work on this, though
