Greetings everyone! Not my first time on these forums, but my first time using this new account! Anyways, down to business.
For quite some time now, I have been working on an extensive re-edit of the prequel trilogy. One of the more unique (and difficult) things I hope to accomplish with my edits would be the musical re-scoring of several key scenes within each of the films.
The scenes I have chosen to re-score for Attack of the Clones are, thankfully, mostly devoid of any dialogue. The few lines that are present (such as Padme's "Look!" in the first Geonosis clip that I will be discussing shortly.) I have in my sound library, thanks to StarWars.com.
However, these scenes do require the presence of a recreated sound mix, one that must fit snugly between the scenes that take place before and after. Therefore, I require access to sound effect files that I can use to re-create said sound mix. I know that these sounds are available to find in many different sources (such as in the files of various Star Wars video games.) However, these files are numerous, unnamed, and hard to sort through.
Therefore, I would like to humbly ask the kind individuals here at OriginalTrilogy.com to help me with this predicament. I will be posting links containing the 4 scenes that I need sound effects for. Under each link, I will also list the sound effects I need for the scene. If you have access to any of the sound effects I require, and can compile/send them to me in an organized and efficient manner, I will forever be in your debt. I will also provide you with a special thanks in the film's credits.
Scene 1: Padme's Arrival On Coruscant - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-u4GFl-h1N0NTQwcDFtR2trblk&authuser=0
Description: The original score that accompanies this scene is a mix of the Phantom Menace track "Arriving on the Federation Battleship" and some other track that I believe to be unique to this film. I personally find this recycling of the previous film's opening score to be both lazy and ineffective in conveying the ominous mood of this opening/the majesty of the Naboo starships. Therefore, I have opted to recycle a different motif from The Phantom Menace; the theme from "Swimming to Ottoh Gunga" which can also be found on the track entitled "Darth Sidious." This brooding, choir-heavy piece of music recalls Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan's visit to the underwater gungan city, and (in my opinion, of course) serves as a much stronger, more attention-grabbing musical accompaniment to this admittedly gorgeous opening sequence.
Sound FX Needed:
-Ambient Coruscant Atmosphere (or any ambient planet atmosphere from Star Wars.)
-Ambient Coruscant Traffic, or Ambient Starship Traffic
-Various Naboo Starfighter Engine Sounds
-Amidala's Skiff Engine Sounds (Will accept sound effects from any of the silver ships in the prequel trilogy, since they're all basically the same, and this one gets destroyed immediately anyways.)
Scene 2: The Clone Army Revealed - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-u4GFl-h1N0cmlTWGtHWmFQZjg&authuser=0
Description: The original score that accompanies this scene is The Federation March, a motif normally associated with the droid forces of the Seperatists. While I understand that this motif was meant to be a precursor to the Imperial March, there is yet ANOTHER precursor to the Imperial March that I believe to be more fitting to this particular scene. I am referring to the theme heard in "The Arena" track from the AOTC album. This theme is also used at various points in Revenge of the Sith, most notably during Anakin's march on the Jedi Temple. It is clear to me that this second theme, which I will refer to as "Temple March", was meant to be the second iteration of the Federation March, one that the audience was meant to associate with the clone army. For this reason, I have inserted the Temple March here, as I feel it to be a fitting evolution of the Federation March, and a good way of distinguishing the Republic forces from the Seperatists.
Sound FX Needed:
-Ambient Kamino noise (Or ambient Star Wars facility noise in general. Basically, any ambient noise from Star Wars media that would fit with Kamino's sterile environment.)
-Clone marching sounds/sounds of Clone armor clanking/jostling/moving (I am not sure if the Clone marching sound effects can be found in Star Wars video games, so perhaps a substitute marching sound effect should be sought out.)
-Sounds of clone rifles jostling/metal pieces rubbing together.
SCENE 3: Dues Ex Yoda - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-u4GFl-h1N0ZzkxaVBTUFBxMzQ&authuser=0
Description: A radical re-scoring. Here I have edited together several tracks from The Empire Strikes Back to accompany Yoda and the clones' rescue of the Jedi Strike Team. By incorporating both heroic and exciting versions of Yoda's theme, as well as subtle hints of the Imperial March, this new score creates a much more triumphant atmosphere to the diminutive Jedi master's timely rescue. I am particularly proud of this rescore.
Sound FX Needed:
-Ambient Geonosis Noise/Atmosphere
-Clone Gunship Engine Sounds
-Clone Gunship Lasers
-Clone Gunship Doors (or any Star Wars door opening effects)
-Clone rifle blaster sounds
-Super Battle Droid joint sounds/arm gun cocking/blaster sounds
-Normal Battle Droid joint sounds
Scene 4: Taking Down The Droid Control Ship - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-u4GFl-h1N0djd2QjlsUmVROUU&authuser=0
Description: Another radical rescore. I have added several heroic Star Wars motifs from the Battle of Hoth tracks to create a much more exciting/triumphant end to the droid control ship.
Sound FX Needed:
-Droid Control Ship engine sounds
-Ambient Geonosis
-Droid Ship Crash Against Desert
-Various Explosion Sound Effects
-Clone Tank Turbolasers
-Various button/electric beeping sounds for Clone Tank controls
-Turbolaser sound effects for Spider Droids
-Clone Gunship Engine Sounds
-Clone/Droid Blaster Sounds
-Droids being blown-up/destroyed sounds
-Clone Walker laser sounds
-Clone Walker mechanical joints/walking sounds
ANY ASSISTANCE/ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Seriously, I am begging all of you kind folk to come to my rescue here. Help me, OT.com users. You're one of my only hopes.

I'd be interested in scene 2; I've always felt it was the incorrect music.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

Wow. I really enjoyed these rescores!

They're back up. :)
And seriously guys, I really do need your help. There has to be SOMEONE here with an organized sound archive of the stuff I need.

Well there was this: http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Brashs-Star-Wars-Sound-Effects-Archive-A-collection-of-the-best-Star-Wars-sounds-for-use-in-Fan-Editing/topic/12364/
But I have no idea where to acquire it.

Yeah that's probably not going to show up for a little while due to the recent delays... that's what I'm going to use when it comes to my edit

Really like all of them except for the first one though, doesn't feel right for some reason, maybe it'll be better when the sound effects are in place and the music is less dominant? But I dunno, I don't dig it. Good work though! AOTC has one of the worst musical editing it's good that someone's going to give this a shot :-)

It's too ethereal and watery IMO.
I thought the original cue was just fine, if a bit anonymous.

Idk. I like it, but I also see what you're saying.

Really bummed (and kind of shocked) that there's no sound effect archive for fan editors to share yet. Hope Brash finishes his soon, I guess, because I don't see how I'm going to accomplish what I want to accomplish otherwise.

Curious if anything ever developed from this. Especially implementing the "correct" music for the first reveal of the clone army.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
